Title: All-Star Starters Announced
Post by: Teddy Roosevelt on January 21, 2010, 05:50:28 PM
WEST
Steve Nash
Kobe Bryant
Carmelo Anthony
Amar'e Stoudemire

Tim Duncan
Allen Iverson
Dwyane Wade
LeBron James
Kevin Garnett
Dwight Howard

Steve Nash barely got by T-Mac and Duncan surpassed Dirk late in the voting. Mark Cuban said on Twitter the it is time to change the voting process.

Coaches (probably Doc Rivers and Rick Carlisle) will select the reserves.

If Kaman Doesn't make the Squad It's not a True All Star Team.

Based on performance , the rosters should be :

East :

Starting 5

PG : Rondo
SG : Wade
SF : Lebron
PF : Bosh
C : Dwight

Subs :
PG : Rose
SG : Joe Johnson
SF : G. Wallace
PF : KG
C :  Noah ( I think David Lee is listed a center and is having a better season but he's not a center ... )

Wild cards :

- The truth
- Josh Smith

West

Nash
Kobe
Melo
Dirk
Duncan

Subs

CP3
Roy
Durant
Z-Bo
Kaman

Wild cards
Gasoft
Billups

they need to find a new way to determine the starters because the fans keep fucking it up.

there should be a minimum amount of games you play; or have the top 10 for Guards & Forwards and top 5 for Centers based on performance to be eligible on the ballot...the rest can be write-ins.

Nice to see Nash and Stoudemire make it as a Suns fan...but I'm not sure Stoudemire should be there starting. Also, how Iverson got in the starting five for the East I have no idea!!!

^ The fans don't always pick the right people but it's the fans that make the league money, so at the end of the day they should be able to vote in who they want.

really man i dont mind seeing iverson getting into the all star game, its the fans and honestly i voted for him too, which this prob being his last all star appearance, but i mean when magic, bird, kareem were on the decline didnt they still get voted in the all stars because of their seniority and resume?

out of all the pgs in the east rondo is the most deserving the be the starter, but im sure he'll be in as a reserve.

plus man iverson is much more fun to watch than rondo imo.
