I'm not a huge pac fan. I bought Better Dayz, the last album before that one I bought was AEOM. I listen to him about as much as I listen to Biggie. Like once a month or so.

I respect Pac as a person (excluding all the worthless beef he was in before his death)... He was a great man and made some incredible songs, but I'm not a fan. I only own Greatest Hits and don't like a lot of his music so I wouldn't call myself a fan

I'm a Pac fan but the West coast overrates him like a muthafucka...He wasn't that great of MC, he had a dope flow and delivery but he wasn't the lyricist the west makes him out to be...Ras Kass, Xzibit, Kurupt(from 92-95) are all superior to Pac as MC's...

i began to hear rap music with a pac- song and a pac- cd! so i was getting a big pac- fan, and i'm still one! but i think, the newer shit is little bad, and i listened really very often to his old songs and got bored on them, and so i'm now hearing more to other rappers! but there are often days, when i put the makaveli or the all eyez on me in the cd player!
for me there is no "best rapper", there are just bad and good ones (and some things between...) and pac is a really very good rapper

I'm not dickriding, but it's an honest question in my head...how can anyone NOT like 2Pac? He rapped about everything there was to rap about, and each time he made it so you wanted to rewind it and say "damn I gotta hear that shit again I can't believe he said that". Name one topic, and Pac had numerous songs on it. Politics, women, streets, parties, war, thug shit, jail, mom, California anthems, straight dissing songs, sad songs, I mean you name it he had it.
On top of that, he made about 300-350 some songs. He put out 4 albums in 5 years, one of which was a double album, and a group album despite being in jail. Add Makaveli in that mix, which definately would've came out even if he didn't die, and that's technically 6 albums in 5 years if you count All Eyez On Me as 2. Then when he dies, about 5 more albums come out. Even though not all the songs were quality songs, it just tells you he was a work-a-holic.
There's a reason that everyone loves him. Sure, sometimes people jump on the bandwagon cause he did, but well over half his fans live and die by his music. 2Pac is one of those people that even if you don't like rap, you like 2Pac or at least some of his music. You can't say that about any rappers except maybe Eminem, and that's only because his music crossed into the rock scene because he happens to be white.
So in my opinion, nobody even comes close to 2Pac in this rap game.
