alright boys, it's game day! 8)
Jets are about a seven point underdog; but it's alllllll goood.
Jets D needs to make some big stops & the offense needs to put points on the board.
WE CAN DO THIS! 8)
J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS!

-
Hate to say this, but Colts Win!!!
-
Colts straight up, Jets with the spread! Should be a good game
-
Jets should have got points on that drive. This is the only thing I hate about schotty and his offense.he tries to be cute. And it killed a good drive. When try to fool the offense on a fake pass when running up the middle works with no cute little tricks.Stupid play calling.
-
Sucks Feely missed the FG. Back to back big passes now by the Colts. 1st & goal, I smell a TD. Holding them to a FG would be huge.
-
and now instead of being up 7-0 and colts tying it their going to take the lead.schotty killed the jets drive with stupid cutesy play calling once again.
-
WOW!!! Edwards Caught It!!! :o
-
WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW huge fucking play. They need edwards to have a big day.
-
WOW!
-
Ive got a weird theory about edwards.Becuase the guy is so frsutrating to watch.,One minute he makes a catch that only can be desrcibed as a miracle the next he drops an easy one.Look at the way sanchez threw that ball.He didnt lob it.When its lobbed edwards seems to lose the ball.Maybe he has bad vision on lobs because line drive like throws hes great on
-
braylon edwards = lamar slow-dom
-
Holding them to field goals is huge. But jets d needs to make some adjustments because their getting torn up right now.
-
I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU BITCH NIGGAS WANT SOME
go JETS
-
I dont think one single person expected the game to go this way so far lol
-
Colts running the ball, jets with big pass plays....AM IN BIZZARO WORLD?
-
The jets d is fierce today
-
Jets get the ball at the half... Great half for the Jet!
-
Some bad coverage by the jets.Coleman totally mis timed his jump on the throw. If he handt jumped that soon he could have defended it but he got greedy and went for the pick. But all said and done the jets have to be happy leading at half.
-
what a terrible ending to this half.
huge momentum swing. :grumpy:
we need to come out & put some points on the board before them.
other than that, i'm amazingly impressed.
-
and now instead of being up 7-0 and colts tying it their going to take the lead.schotty killed the jets drive with stupid cutesy play calling once again.
Those cutesy plays are the only reason you have lead. I'm not worried anymore. Colts have been a second half team all year. I don't see any blown coverage on Edwards or any trick plays, and good luck getting another fumble. The only solid drive you guys have lead to a missed FG. We should have put those two 1st and goals away for the lead but it's ok. I feel confidant. The early deep ball to Garcon could have been thrown better for the TD, the next deep ball to Collie was why he's the MVP.
-
I thought you never were worried with your god throwing the ball?
-
If tom brady made that drive you would do whatever you could to discredit what he did lol.
-
^yeah, getting lucky with blown defensive coverage shows the MVP caliber of players. :D
if Coleman wasn't retarded & just ran with the ball instead of jumping four feet early of it, it was undoubtedly an INT.
Peyton has looked shitty all day, minus two passes two Reggie.
he just better keep looking shitty in the second half.
-
I dunno, that deep ball to Collie was dope as hell
-
Exactly that deep pass was the defenders fault,he mis timed his jump other wise that was a pick. And a blown coverage.Good luck getting more blown coverages by the jets.
-
I dunno, that deep ball to Collie was dope as hell
it was a good ass throw, if their wasn't any defenders on the field lol.
but that should have easily been a pick.
to quote a great NFL mind, that was a "punt".
-
With throws like that I bet peyton will be picked off at least once this half
-
Nate Kaeding Misses Again!!!
Oh I Men Jay Feely ;D
-
You cant fault a kicker missing a 52 yarder lol.And what was his first 44 yards?Thats not even close to what kaeding did.
-
Still Could Cost Em The Game
That's 6 Points
-
Colts are clicking now.
-
This is true. They should have punted instead of the try. They need to make some adjustments on d or the game is over.
-
Was that last TD throw a punt too Cham?
-
Jets need points on this drive or else it could get ugly quick.
-
Wow,that should have been roughing the qb.
-
Sanchez Is So Cool And Calm In The Pocket Right Now
-
That's more like it Edwards
-
Jets need a stop on this drive.
-
Was that last TD throw a punt too Cham?
LMFAO, i was actually thinking about it towards the end of the drive.
maybe not the picture perfect Brady "Punt" on that drive, but those throws (minus one throw to Garcon, i think) were all picture perfect Brady "Short Shit".
all five yard slants, living on some YAC; it's somewhat funny.
the TD was a good throw, but at the same time terrible defense by Strickland; Jesus Christ!
anyway, i have a bad feeling in my stomach down; our sails have lost wind; we need a momentum swing, quick!
-
As long as the jets keep it within one score they have a chance.
-
As long as the jets keep it within one score they have a chance.
i'm with ya, Jay!
we need a stop here though; if we hold them to a FG, i'll have that confidence flowing through me lol.
also, Mark Fuckin' Sanchez has been making some crisp ass throws today; i'm impressed! :o
-
Thats most likely the game.Looks like losing greene and strickland was the difference in this game.
-
well that could very well be the final nail in the coffin. :-X
-
gonna be nearly impossible now
-
gonna be nearly impossible now
well not only can't we run it, but we can't even use Shonn Greene if we tried to; i'm disappointed.
when Reggie just coughed it up to himself on that last drive, it kind of summed up the game; i've been hyped since halftime, but the Colts recovered.
defense was awesome.
speaking of awesome defense; Peyton clearly fears Revis lol.
-
Peyton just respects revis. Why take a chance and give him the oppurtunity to make a play.Especially since the jets number two cb is out of the game.
-
In the end,at least the jets got beat as a team and it wasnt sanchez making the mistakes. The injuries are a big difference. The way greene was running compared to the way jones is running is huge. This is a huge building block for the jets to build on in the future.
-
i personally would have went for it.
you can't bank on a pick or fumble; they are just going to milk this clock.
:-\

oh, i expect a ring next year; given we stick together.
Mark Sanchez has experience now, got as far as the AFC Championship Game, we get Leon back; the defense will stay strong.
we have a bright future. :)
but i am devistated after that first half. :-\
-
coverage breakdown after coverage breakdown man
-
Yeah the first half was exciting. It came down to a few plays in the end.Coleman jumping for that ball early was huge.If had just stayed running that ball wasnt completed and the colts dont get a touchdown at the end of the half.A lot of hypotheticals but they jets could have won this game. They just fell short on a couple plays and it gave the colts all the momentum. But peyton was the difference, hes calling audibles on almost every pass play.
Having leon back next year and having kris jenkins back as well.Jenkins was their best player on defense when he got hurt.
-
Jets secondary has been bad today theirs no other way of saying that.Losing strickland seems to have been huge it shifted everybody and nobody has been communicating since then.Having ellis and leonhard wearing casts and unable to make tackles is rough.
-
^true that, forgot all about Jenkins.
Peyton got progressivly better; but like you said, the secondary has been terrible.
i don't want to sound like a Mets fan, but there is always next year. :P
-
You cant understate the importance of losing greene was to this game. After he left, the jets offense has done NOTHING.He was their best player for the other two play off games and he looked poised to have another big game.
-
also, how about the turn-a-round for that Indy offensive line?
we were getting to Peyton every snap in the first half; but they made some adjustment & gave him the time he needed.
& you can't give Manning that much time.

he's a playmaker.
he's had some huge runs for us in the last few weeks; but his future is bright.
-
If greene didnt get hurt this game would haveplayed out differently.
-
If greene didnt get hurt this game would haveplayed out differently.
it probably would have been closer, but our defense looked so "not #1-like", we were doomed from the kickoff of the second half. :-\

I hate to walk in on your guys mourning session but it went exactly as I said it would, minus Peyton staying away from Revis. But I think more of that has to do with how good Garcon and Collie were. And of course how good Peyton is. 377 yards and 3 TDs while still leading the team down to 3 first and goals that lead to FGs . If this wasn't the best D in the league this would have been 42 points easy. If Garcon and Collie weren't each getting TDs and 3 digit yards maybe he would have tested out one on one with Revis, but why force something when you don't have to?
And Cham, don't know why the mention of Brady. He's at home watching the game and neglecting some illegitimate child somewhere. The difference between Brady and Peyton in this game anyway, is not that Peyton doesn't dink and dunk; who would ignore a wide open WR/ It's when the throw needs to be squeezed in there he can do it with the best of them.
(and the difference between that bomb to Collie and the punts to Moss all 07 is that Collie's pass needed to be thrown in a window while Moss's were jump balls. It's not a punt unless the guy is all alone down field of it's a jump ball. I don't expect you to agree with that here and now but I feel like saying it anyway).
Lastly, to all the Jets fans; You have a great team than played great in these playoffs and great things will happen in the coming years. But you're not going to beat up on Peyton Manning for 4 quarters in Indy in 2009, and you can't expect a rookie to keep up with a 4 time MVP. Sanchez played amazing and I see big things in his future but it just wasn't his time yet.
-
Shallow you cannot deny that greene going down changed this game.He WAS the reason they won their first playoff games. He was running well and the offense was moving. When he went down the jets offense stalled completely.
-
Manning did what he does, but the jets offense was gone after greene left. That was the difference in the game. They were winning and moving the ball, when he left the offense didnt score again.
-

Greene went down and Sanchez stepped up. What they lost on the ground they gained in the air. Sanchez had a way better game than he should have had. Injuries play a factor and if both teams were fully healthy all season who knows how it would have ended up. A healthy Bob Sanders is as good as many player on that field today. Gonzalez was supposed to have a huge year this year in place of Harrison. The point is your Jets let up 30 points and could have been a lot more if there was some better play calling near the goal line in the first half, Peyton's fault. Greene was doing well and I'd bet he may have lead to one big play ad 1 more TD but I don't think the Colts would have lost either way.
-
i made some money today!!!!!!!! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
damn i was gon bet the jest would win.....cuz i really wanted them too but i had to go wit them colt hangers...lol

no, no, no, no, time & time again you've said how Brady sucks because he scores like that, blah blah blah.
don't change the story now & it would have been an interception if Coleman didn't misplay the ball; it was a punt that he didn't have to jump for because the defender who was suppose to jump with him, jumped 5 feet too early lmao.
anyway, going by your logic, on the "dink & dunk", what if Welker or Moss are open on every play?
not to even bring up, when he finally throws the ball down the field, your response is "that was a punt" or "Peyton could have made a better throw" (even when the WR catches it) lol.
ANYWAY, thank you for your umm, blessing there; thanks lol.
good luck to you & your Buffalo Bills next season too. ;)

I know you're sour so I'll make it quick. Time and time again I said Brady was over rated and nothing special because of the ways he cannot throw, not the ways he can throw. Favre played west coast his whole career. I've never slighted him because he can make the tough throws when he needs to. If the WR is wide open then throw it to him, Brady does nothing wrong in that department, but when the throw isn't wide open he's below average.
Collie never jumped for that ball. He just ran at his pace and it fell in his hands. Perfect throw, and so was the one to Garcon. Show me a play where a thrpow like that is ever intercepted. It's too fast and too precise. You can't expect any DB to see that coming. You just have to play the man and hope for a bad throw. You make it seem like the dude knew the ball was right there and decided not to grab it. Then again you think Jones/Greene is better than CJ, so whatever.
I hope my Bills do very well next year. I'll never cheer for the Colts over the Bills. Caldwell should have just let Peyton stay in the game 4 weeks ago and the Jets would have been out then and there. But then they might have lost to the Chargers so Go Caldwell.
