...Snoop will do about 250,000 which is better than Ja Rule...Birdman and Busta are gonna do over 100,000...from hitsdailydouble.com...

Here is the excerpt
Perhaps as surprising is rap icon Tupac Shakur’s latest posthumous release, Better Dayz (Amaru/Tha Row/Interscope), which at this point looks like it’ll do about 400k, depending on whether stock issues can be sorted out. As one can imagine, this isn’t the easiest week to deal with a stock problem, but word is ’Pac will be taken care of.
Jennifer Lopez, meanwhile, stops rubbing up on sexy-guy hubby Ben Affleck for long enough to see her This Is Me... Then (Epic) rack up, in all likelihood, more than 300k in its first week. Not bad for lil’ ol’ Jenny from the Block.
But wait, there’s more: Snoop Dogg’s Paid Tha Cost to Be Tha Boss (Priority/Capitol) is on track to do as much as 250k, putting some ill bite in the dee-oh-double-gee’s bark.
for some reason, I find it hard to believe...

That would be Snoops worst first week ever, right? GOod thing he is about to have one of his biggest singles ever in "Beautiful".

I think Top Dogg sold around 185,000 the first week...But Bitch Please blew up the album to 1.5 million...I think Snoop will end up with his usual 1.5-2 million wnen it's all over...

From the Chuuuch to the Palace has been a big hit for Snoop. The song has made apperances on TRL and is still doing well on 106 and Park--number 5 last time I checked. The bottom line is a hot single does not translate directly into record sales--just look at Fat Joe and the 50,000 he pushed on his opening week. Beautiful is catchy as hell--we'll see if it officiallly blows this album up.
Second..I think it may be his worse (not sure--Topp Dogg probably is up there) opening week ever but if you think about it-every album of his before that had a gimmick. Doggystyle=Debut, Doggfather=Follow up to the classic, TGITBSNBT=First non Death Row, first NL album, Top Dogg (The one exception..and the one album PTCTBTB might beat), and The Last Meal (return of executive produced by Dre..non No Limit overall).
The bottom line is..with Ja Rule selling barely over 200,000, Snoop should be pleased with 250,000. Plus I see this album staying on the charts a while--I could be wrong though. Oh well-Ill still be bumping that ish..
