looks like this might be the last time MnW is in the top50

again, not bad with how the kind the radio play Gangsta Love got
-
Both singles - "Gangsta Luv" and "I Wanna Rock" - gained sales this week and raised in the billboard hot 100. "Gangsta Luv" is charted at #39 and "I Wanna Rock" at #64 if I remember correctly.
I'm still wondering where "Pronto" is though... I thought it would be his most sucessful single off the album, considering the Soulja Boy feature...
-
total sales to date? like 200K?
-
yeh, somethin around that mark.
how much did ego trippin sell? i think it was 400k .
snoop's still got a while to go before he can match the sales of his previous album. not likely it will happen
-
how much $ will he get per cd? ... x 200.000 + digital paid DLs = enough.
-
i think he's made alot more money from the digital downloads, rather than the actual hard copies.
-
I'm surprised this garbage album sold even that much

certain females & long beach is active buy it
-
^
yeh, pretty much only females and die hard snoop fans are buyin it.
majority of sales are made by females without a doubt. that's why the album is so soft & pop.
guys in general these days dont buy music. they just download it, but i still believe that if you make a real dope album, even alot of them will buy it, if its good enough.
another thing is music is really going down hill for years now, and dudes just cant see the sense in buying albums if only a couple tracks are good.

I agree with that entire statement, although I could go on in great detail about this 'internet-is-to-blame' culture that gets used as an excuse for lack of sales

Soulja boy doesn't sell records really.
Rae outsold him

I buy quite a lot of hard copy CDs these days. No less than back in the day. If its good I'll buy it. I prefer having the real album with the inlay/credits etc. I do download though, but I use it for odd tracks and mixtapes and then when it comes to albums I use it as a first listen. If I enjoy it I'll buy it afterwards providing I like it enough.
This album wasnt that good besides a couple of songs...so I didnt buy it.
