"It Ain't Nothin'" from Cypress Hill's upcoming April 6 release, RISE UP. For more information, go to www.cypresshill.com
a brand new Cypress Hill joint off their upcoming record Rise Up, due out on April 6. The song is called "It Ain’t Nothin'" The album features special guest appearances from Rage Against The Machine/Street Sweeper Social Club's Tom Morello, who co-wrote and co-produced the title track and lead single "Rise Up." The famed guitarist also appears on a second track titled "Shut 'Em Down."
The legendary hip-hop/rock group have signed an exclusive worldwide deal with Priority/EMI and are gearing up for the release of their first new studio album in six years. "We’re very excited to be part of the Priority Records family,” says B-Real. “It's a label with a rich history, and together with Snoop we're going to add to its legacy."

Keep it coming

Produced by B-Real, somebody asked about this on twitter and B-Real replied sayin it's produced by him. Muggs should've produced the first single.
-
its cool but its not a banger of a single....b real did a cool job tho
but they need more of a banger
think lowrider was better than this....maybe

Once again another mediocore song from a group that was on top in the 90's. But this is the type of track you get when muggs isn't involved. It's not horrible...but its definitely not a banger.
-
yeah and that could be considered a crossover single for the Hispanics and rap fans...haha
and damn b reals album had 6 joints on it
not that many young de features this time...damn haha

its pretty good...
The beat is wack though... I didnt like the production on Smoke an Mirrors for the most part.... and it seems that this cypress hill album is gonna have the same...
The drums are dope on this track the repeating samples is real plain and annoying... Not feeling the noises at all...
They need to get better beats and not these simple wack loops....
but the track overall is pretty good...

Yeah the more I listen to it, I dig it, but keep coming away with the feeling that a Muggs, Alchemist, or Khalil produced 2nd single is going to blow this away. No offense against B Real, I liked his beats on Young De's album, but it would have been nice to have a Muggs produced 1st single. But true to form as to what Muggs and B said, Muggs is taking a lesser role in this project. Good or bad I am still gonna check out the album.
