They won't liquidise a club of that size. I can't see that ever happening. It'll definitely be administration though so I doubt anyone is getting their points back just yet!

Mind you, knowing Pompey will get deducted however many points if they do go into admin does mean there will really only be two spots left to fill which takes a bit of extra pressure from the other teams down there.

if they were going in to admin i'd agree the premier would probably bail them out til the end of the season(although they already did last week to the tune of £21 million)...but this is a winding up order from the tax man completely different kettle of fish...they must cease trading if they dont pay up...and under official premier league rules the scenario i described above is what will happen

but looks like theyve got til friday now from the snippet i managed to catch on the radio

I hope they dont go out of existance, i feel sorry for fans who's clubs are destroyed by mismangment by owners who are only interested in making money.

Definitely. Always sad to see a club cease to exist. Where do the fans go from there? It would be awful to experience considering the amount of love and support we put into these clubs.

Tottenham should cease the moment, and pounce.. it's already a farmer-club/co-op club.

Redknapp, Kaboul, Crouch, Defoe, Kranjčar - and they got Rocha, O'Hara on loan, M. Brown, K.P. Boateng, in return.. hardly a fair swap.  :D

Yeah it was nice of Redknapp to do that. To illegally aid in the signing of players while at Pompey along with Storrie, put players and wages that they didnt have the money to pay and then fuck off to London after winning them one cup without any sign of loyalty or respect. AND THEN, to add insult to injury, nick all of the good players Pompey had left leaving Pompey with no money and no stars.

Well done Harry. You dirty, overrated twat. Can't stand the c*nt. He does nothing but talk shit in the press either.

haha nah Newcastle fan...but for some reason always hated Spurs and Harry Redknapp as separate entities so when they were combined they became an easy target for all of my football related rants (of which there are many!).

aye. Talking about del boy its funny how Redknapp is seen to be a 'wheeler dealer' in the transfer market considering he hasnt made one shrewd buy for about a decade...always paying over the odds for most players he buys (possible Krancjar aside as I think he only cost 3mil). He pisses money up the wall more than almost any other manager in the premiership right now.
