So what? Besides being a equally dope MC, musically, Joell's recent work is definately more interesting than Crook's.

Joel's idol is big pun.
So what he was banging on kitchen counters & rapping allong crookeds, that just means he enjoys the music

Nice vid
-
the track and video are great. its an actual song, the beat is some serious upbeat jazz/funk vibe and joell is smiling loads, having a good time.
yet its still got that hip-hop flava that joell exudes, refreshing change from all the angry/serious music and mean mugs 8)
-
great record/video
can't wait for the album
Got a Joell interview coming up
-
yeah joell has impressed me since the slaughterhouse album dropped, he has just been getting better and better.
really looking forward to this album after hearing this, great song and the vid is cool as well.
-
na Joell has been dope way before SH it was just his beats on The Bodega were weak in some places. His tribute to Pun (one of the first tracks i heard pre-aftermath) is lyrically on another level. This song and video gives me faith in NY hip hop
-
great vid great track nuff said!! 8)

this shit i special dope..love it...some got mp3?
-
ehh, it's aiight... not really my type of ish I wanna hear Joell on, I'm sure the album will have plenty better cuts 8)

no doubt i wasn't saying he was bad or anything before SH, but he has just risen to another level. i think i was comparing him to the rest of slaughterhouse where i rated him behind royce and crook but now i think i rate him ahead of those 2 in terms of recent music. i enjoyed the bodega, gave that a lot of spins.

aight sorry I misunderstood you. I'd def put Joell ortiz over royce and crooked just cause i think hes a bit different. Technically royce and crooked are sick but lack the character imo of ortiz.

Now thats just dope, song and video. Just dopeness.
-
The ending is so cute, where Ortiz actually get the girl back!

yeah he def has more character, i mean royce is just a stone faced bastard...which is fine, but he doesn't show much

Allot of Joell's apeal comes from the fact that you can just hear his love for hiphop
