haha true and they aren't gonna be doing much this year but warming the bench and playing in garbage time when Lakers are up by 20.

Luke is just horrendously injury-prone, he can still be a pretty important piece if he could ever recover. but yeah Sasha is just too unreliable, even when all he has to do is shoot the ball. And Morrison just sucks.

Morrison was washed up long before he came to the Lakers. They only traded for him because they found a team the would take Vlad Rad's ridiculous contract.

honestly i wouldnt mind having vlad be our spot up shooter for mle or vets minimum. its just matters how bad he wants a ring. we need a shooter that isnt named kobe.

Chicago was going to trade Kirk Hinrich for Morrison and Vujacic, but the Lakers decided to let Morrison's contract expire.

It was to clear cap space so the Bulls can offer a max contract to the likes of Wade or LeBron.

Yeah lol I didn't think of that for some reason, either way, I'd feel dooped giving up any talent for Vujacic and Morrison.

I think I read in the LA Times that they WANTED to give up Vujacic and Morrison for Hinrich

but the Bulls were like fuck no we don't want that piece of shit Sasha for next year

what a joke Sasha has become, he's so bad that he's making these executives hang up the phone

for whatever reason, the Lakers didn't wanna let go of Luke a few years ago

the 5-year deal was just dumb, even if he had performed halfway decent throughout

it's like they were afraid he was gonna go to another team and be like an assist machine or something

but he's never been able to build on anything as a player other than hustle and play making

his dribbling is suspect and scary in tight situations, and he looks like a girl when shooting, he's more timid than A. Morrison

he misses the closest shots, trying to bank off the backboard, his shot is way too hesitant, and he never learned to just sack it up

I like Walton when he's active but somethin's not right with his game hahaha

Walton has been playing injured all season. Not that he was the most productive guy before. The Lakers gave him that huge contract because in his final year of his old one, he showed great progression that the Lakers felt would continue. Like Vujacic, when he got his new contract he played like shit. Luckily the Lakers learned from Walton and only gave Vujacic a 3 year deal instead of a 5 or 6 year deal.
