Title: Jamison Heading to the Cavs
Post by: Mo Z. Dizzle on February 17, 2010, 04:10:45 PM
Cavs strike deal for Wizards’ Jamison (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Au9PexxVoWTNsH5C4aSWt7QgPKB4?slug=aw-jamisontrade021710&prov=yhoo&type=lgns)

The Cleveland Cavaliers have reached agreement on a six-player, three-team trade that lands them former All-Star forward Antawn Jamison(notes), league sources with knowledge of the talks told Yahoo! Sports.

The Cavaliers are sending center Zydrunas Ilgauskas(notes) and a first-round pick to the Wizards. The Wizards also will receive Brian Skinner(notes) and Al Thornton(notes) from the Los Angeles Clippers. The Cavaliers will get point guard Sebastian Telfair(notes) from the Clippers. The Wizards will send Drew Gooden(notes) to the Clippers.

The Washington Post first reported the Wizards had agreed to send Jamison to the Cavaliers.

Big move for the Cavs here. I think Jamison will help the team more than Amare would have.

Btw, anybody who needs rebounds and blocks on fantasy team should consider Ilgauskas.

this puts them over the top in the East; they still aren't a lock to beat the Lakers though.

but lmfao @ Jamison's line last night; 0-12 from the field with two points on Free Throw's.

yea but i always thought the cavaliers were deep before they got jamison, they never were as deep as the lakers (going to the WCF without kobe is a possiblity, but  a playoff spot is locked without kobe) but wow jamison? when he gets into the system,  hes another leader, a vet, and some one that can get 20/20/5 on any given night and hes been proving it the least couple seasons even at his age.

this guys sick, once hes 100% fit in the system, lebrons gonna get a lotta deserved rest. (even though i hate the fucker, if i were joahkim noah or odom, id beat his bitch ass down to the floor whenever he did that dance)

there's rumour that the Wiz will buy out Ilgauskas, and he'll eventually return to the Cavs.

Jamison's definitely bounced back today.

9-14 from the field; 19 points, 8 boards.

13-0 before the trade.

0-3 since the trade.

they better start proving that this was the right move.
