who?

They made the right choice.

Antawn. We already saw that the Shaq-Amare combination didn't work.
Antawn will compliment James well. He's a 20+ PPG scorer, can get 8 to 10 boards on average a game, and can shoot 3s.
Positive attitude as well, so he'll be more beneficial to the Cavs IMO.

I think the Cav's got a real shot at going all the way this year, glad to see they got Jamison 8)
-
unstoppable !
-
that will be a very good trade only if Z goes back to Cleveland .... Jamison is a nice scorer , will stretch the floor but he's a bad defender ...
if Z does not come back , they will miss size inside after Shaq .... LOL at Jamison defending Gasol
-
on the thead question , Amare could have been a GREAT fit for the cavs ... the Amare -Shaq did not work in Phoenix argument is overrated , actually he averaged better numbers playing with Shaq than without ... it was more about too much of a change of offensive tempo for the whole Suns team ( Nash struggled to adapt his game aswell) than a Amare-Shaq pb
- Lebron-Amare running pick n rolls would have been UNSTOPPABLE
- Amare never played D in Phoenix ( nobody does and nobody is asked too) but in a defensive oriented team , who knows ? He has the athletic tools to be a great defender ... it's not like Jamison is a good defender
Amare - Gasol matchup would have been more balanced than a Jamison-Gasol matchup ...
these PF long distance shooters ain't doing crap on offense against Pau ( read Lewis , Dirk) because his length bothers their shot , and he has easily his way on offense against them
-
if it were to me id pick jamison over amare anyday. minus the age complications
-
i'd take Amare; he's more explosive.
Jamison opens up the floor more, but Amare is absurdly athletic for a big man; throw him & LeBron together & it wouldn't even be fair.
but Jamison is more than enough for Cleveland to make the Finals; neither would have made them favorites over the Lakers anyway.
