yup, goldie loc and mc eiht mentioned that in seperate interviews last year. it's a pity though because I remember watching a video of the three being in the studio with daz, terrace martin, problem and them and you could hear some dope instrumentals in the background and eiht mentioned production by battlecat, soopafly and daz if I remember correctly. :-\
-
the album was fully completed... but due to label politics and everything, the group was never able to release it, and it prob wont ever come out.
-
I made a thread with all their tracks on..dunno how long back :)

does that mean they don't own the rights to release it and there isn't even a chance to put it out for free, like quik did with that fixxers record?

For real. No sense sitting on that material. Might as well put it out for free so their names stay buzzin, because honestly I don't really care for MC Eiht or Goldie Loc these days anyway. Kam on the other hand I always check for.

I think these 3 makes a new age Westside Connection in their own right. If only a label would give them a chance ya know...

well I have to disagree with that. WSC had a crazy chemistry and they were way more consistent as a group imo. even though I can't stand Mack 10 I consider them one of the best rap groups ever, just because they had straight west coast gutter sound, g'd up you know what I'm sayin.
But still: I would like to hear the album Eiht, Kam and Goldie did together, the production credits sounded promising.

I hear that....the only reason I said they could be a new age WSC was because of image & good hip hop.....plus there is 3 of them lol.

Oh hell nah. Westside Connection was one of the best groups ever, Warzone doesn't come close.
-
WSC was more a group, the Warzone is more three individuals packed together

Read my post after that.....I meant it in the meaning of Image & being a good mix of artists. NOT by talent, chemistry, etc.

Kam is raw though. I gotta say, his verse on TQ's Westside Remix was crazy!
