I dont like the way theyre hating on crunk though. This is good for novelty value but let's not pretend like it's anything special.

I dont like the way theyre hating on crunk though. This is good for novelty value but let's not pretend like it's anything special.
But Crunk is a piece of shit, and was considered by a variety of West Coast people 2 be a shitty inferior type of music. Personally I don't care 4 it, but the thing does show a side of how Cali rappers feel. I mean every west coast nigga is trying 2 come up using southern production. Its good 2 see some people still kept 2 there roots. I'm not saying they need 2 be pure G-Funk or Pure West but atleast keep some of that flavor into it.
I do hope they don't take this as the main gimmick though. I do agree with you on this, but yeah, the fact this came out recently as today proves the sounds not dead nor outdated. It just needs more perfection and less Atomic Dogg rape lol
anyone got a DL 4 these 2 tracks/possible album release/order site or dl link lol

I think they're sick of this crunk trend and I definitely feel them. It's not a gimmick its a theme like bow down addressing the current state of music. They're being real and standing up for their kind of music in an age where you're going against the grain just making g-funk. I don't think they were that harsh on crunk either i got the vibe the song was more about g-funk nostalgia and the void then starting a war with crunk artists.
The fact though they get the g-funk vibes and style down perfectly and give props to some great old artists shows to me they just love g-funk. I really am rooting for these dudes just doing their thing and instead of imitating whats on the radio. The beats my favorite part man I love that beat.
You can buy their single here:

It's also on amazon and cduniverse.

I have no problem with people doing G-Funk in 2010, but this is not how it should be done.
First off, G-Funk over Crunk? Crunk passed like 4 years ago, you're a little late. The chick singing on the chorus of the first song sounds like an out of key version of Jewell. These rappers are hot garbage too. The beat sounds so thin and the drum samples are weak as fuck.
I'm sorry but this wouldn't even be dope if it was 1992.

So you guys want some pure G-Funk ?
