Really weak Oscar evening when it comes to entertainment. It was really boring. Happy with the awards choice tho.

lmao, they had a poll on the local news about the hurt locker winning, 65% thought it was a bad choice.  lmao

wasn't amazed Avatar only won Visuals (I knew Hurt Locker would win sound) but That's all Avatar was. The story was unoriginal, the characters were Generic (even derived from Camerons previous work) and the plot was predictable. I really like the movie, but in the end I can't believe all these guys I know are shocked it didn't win more.

Avatar was a pretty sick movie looking back already at it...though i did enjoy while i watched it too, i liked the message of it and it was definately 'big' but i think overall it was a pretty predictable night. Everything you suspected would win something won. Jeff...Sandra...lol, 'heroes'

Even with that in mind, every year the Oscars still manage to give Best Picture to generic movies and there are a few exceptions but that seems to be the case
