Oh thats the dude that had that one song with the annoying Missy sample for a chorus. Song had Kurupt, Crooked I, Busta, Jay Rock, and Little Brother.

i love Kida's flow, also the delivery is very different from the average westcoast rapper... i appreciate that.

the production of the mixtape is on point, sure its not as versatile as an album effort would have to be, but its very solid, nice! fits the demands of a "mixtape" / "street album" perfectly
and the mixing is also pretty solid throughout the mixtape, so it feels like an album - like in the old days: dre doggystyle, quincy thriller, etc.. its feels like its ONE - rather than a compilation..

ill have to download and listen to it more to tell which tracks i liked most and why,

but i liked most of them. "be who u are" is outstanding of course.. love the flip, but its sad that the melody isnt starting with the flip, im anticipating the next chord, but then the loop starts again. still very well done!

hmpf, havent heard many mixtapes like this lately,
only one that pops into my mind right now which feels as good as this may be Young Maylay's music - glued together by crazy toones...


PS: also i noticed it sounds like a straight hip hop record... i guess ppl from the east can appeal to it easily
