At least it's Danny this time, but isn't this a rework of Shortyo's artwork and on top of that - isn't that picture from Danny Boy's Platinum Pearl Days?
-
its bout fuckin time
-
1. Yes that is a pic from his post Death Row days
2. Lol @ them spelling DJ Quik the right way and with a c in it.
3. LMAO @ "selling points".
-
Fuck yes! 90s Dj Quik Beats ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
I think they should've thrown on Slip-N-Slide and re-released the video, which would at least generate some buzz, given its cameos by Pac, DPG, etc.
-
3. LMAO @ "selling points".
why is that funny?
most one sheets are laid out that way ...
-
i am lookn forward to this...
-

Digitally remastered? Does this mean they actually took the time to clean this shit up right so it sounds proper?

Yep.. a bootlegger messed with the EQ, upped the volume, and compressed it into mp3. Digital remastered.. enjoy!

Why do I get the feeling of another NBK fail. I mean I don't want 2 pop tha disk in and boom I hear him doing a deep ass note, sounding like Click Clack from the alps.
-
thought he had taken some new publicity shots?
2 'death row' albums in a row a wont buy
-
I'll see what the early feedback is before I decide to buy or not... Snoop's shit looked too amazing to pass up and the Death Row boxset was a Christmas gift so it's whatever with those but if the sound quality is the usual Wideawake standard, I'm gonna pass.
-
Great to see this coming, tho its like 14 years late. They should have released his shit in 96
-
its bout fuckin time
Damn I can't wait to hear track 5. DJ Quik production + Roger Troutman feature = 8).
I wish they'd put that song Danny Boy did with Do Or Die on this though, I never get tired of that song.
-
Is danny boy involved in this release

Ill prob download for the Quik beats
-
I'm personally not real excited about this release as I'm not really into r n' b. But I think it is a much better release than that lame-ass Kurupt repackaged "Against the Grain" album that they dropped a couple months ago. I know there are a lot of Danny Boy fans that have been waiting on an album from him for quite some time, so I'm happy for them that they're finally getting it. I'll probably support this project because it's (at least, mostly) unreleased material, but hopefully their next release will be a rap project. And by that I mean, a project with unreleased material and not another re-hash.
-
wow canīt wait........... :o

maybe he means "All In The Club" from Headz Or Tails

This company is going to go bankrupt if they keep putting out all these albums I'm sure they're not recouping for. Can we finally get a Crooked I album next?

That's what I'm hoping too. I honestly think that it's one of the few albums that they could put out free and clear and make a little money from. I'm hoping that if they release one, they release "Untouchable" or whatever they end up calling the album, that it ends up being mostly tracks from the "Untouchable" recording sessions.
I'm happy for the fans who wanted a Danny Boy album, but I don't honestly think it will be a money maker.

yeah but 2 bad danny boy has no features on it but i hope tha beats BANG!
-
Looks like it's gonna be a decent album, not some lame ass Kurupt bullshit but they should've:
- put out Slip-N-Slide on it along with the video in REAL DVD quality as a bonus
- include some guest features from Snoop, DPG etc
- throw some Dre produced tracks on it
- "welcome 2 death row" with 'pac should've been on it
-

And Devin the Dude's new album comes out that day as well, can't forget that when talkin' 420
-
looks tight... finally an album with some unreleased remastered shit
-

how can u say that when u haven't heard it all?
u judge an album by what the tracklist looks like?
-
maybe im a little biased, i just think that a company that is know for rap/hiphop should release those instead of rnb
