Title: Amsterdam - places to go
Post by: MediumL on March 09, 2010, 05:41:02 AM: What are the best clubs in Amsterdam? Maybe going there soon and was wandering. Do they have any rules about letting under 21s in on a weekend or anything like that?

Also I'd prefer to avoid that hardcore trance sound that gets a lot of love in Holland if its possible. Thanks in advance for any help.

14 year old's usually don't have problems getting into a club.

17 now.

Never really go to clubs anway.
At most I just go in for a drink if I didn't take enough with me.

Whats Escape like? I've heard its a good club and i know its gonna be house music which is alright.

Melkweg & Paradiso are epic. So is Winston. Club Up is cool, but its more electro-ish. De wolvenschuur is good for massive drinking. I always like club 8 but it isnt in downtown, and its hard to pick a good night. otherwise its empty.

Dont really know about the gay clubs, man. I believe wednesday night is a gay night at studio 80, with is next door to Escape, on rembrandtsquare. And you got Trut which is a gayclub dunno if its cool, but my gay co-worker always goes there.
