So, the homie, D.O.C. tried working out the whole voice thing, but there wasn't enough big enough change which caused him to keep it quiet. He's still looking to at least make one more record, for the fans and everyone who is still interested in what he's saying and putting out. He said that he doesn't really care about the voice anymore, and he feels that it's time to get the ball rolling again despite the voice thing and he's going to try not to leave his fans empty handed. So, keep your ears open because I believe D.O.C. has one last hoorah left in him.

Not sure exact, but I know Six-2 re-did Gorilla Pimpin which was originally MC Breed's song which D.O.C. originally wrote and did the chorus for. I believe D.O.C. has a lot more than one album left in him, it's just a matter of him keeping the faith in himself.

oh no doubt its no so much releasin a doc album that matters, he has talent altogether, sad if he cant believe in himself and many consider him one of the best ever....and still do

Essentially, yes.

I personally believe he has the talent to make a plethora of hit records. Shit, if Weezy with his gay ass voice can have a hit then D.O.C. can too. D.O.C.'s voice is way better in my opinion than Weezy's. Lol.

thanks for the effort!
yeah fuck the mainstream, just make the record! there's no need for Dre's approval, Helter Skelter was done without Dre.
i'm sure there's plenty of producers to make it happen, like Stan the guitar man:
Dubcnn: I’m sure your walls are painted in Gold and Platinum plaques. Is there one particular record, whether it be an album or a song, that you are particularly fond of or that you consider a favorite?
I had the most fun working on the DOC album, “No One Can Do It Better”. “Whirlwind Pyramid” is classic to me. Ice Cube’s “Death Certificate”, too. But all-time favorite is DOC.
Dubcnn: When was the last time you talked to DOC?
It was last year some time. A buddy of mine ran into him and put him on the phone. I don’t know if he is recording anymore, but he is definitely a favorite.

Unfortunate i guess, but wtv, I think his hardcore fans will dig it anyway, even if his voice isnt what it used to be.

yeah, as long as the vocals are loud enough, i don't see the problem (it's 2010)
