1st episode = dope.
bastards had to make it a mini series, i was fiendin for more after episode ended.

I checked this out as well. So far, I'm liking it pretty well. It seems that they're using the same format they used with "Band of Brothers," by having the actual veterans speak a bit to introduce the episode. I thought that worked well for "Band of Brothers," so it will probably work here as well. The preview for next week's episode looked pretty good.

Fuck Yeah! I've been waiting for this series to start up for months.. Band of Brothers was amazing, if this is even half as good then it will be worth watching
Tom Hanks is an Exec Producer.. ** Spoiler **.. When the Marines were in those ships about to storm the beaches, I thought for sure it was going to start out as a slaughter.. like when they stormed the beaches in Saving Private Ryan, it was kinda funny when they run up on the beach and theres troops already hanging around like "what the fuck took you so long"

Love this show. Great first episode. WHen they were walking the grass field heading towards that broken down trunk. I was almost sure something was going to happen...show is intense

watched both episodes on a nice home theater with surround sound and shit, nothing like watching japs get slaughtered on a big high def LED tv

This has been so dissapointing for me. Band of Brothers was good because it was character drivin and the acting was amazing. This has lacked both of those elements. Its been boring and nothing has actually happened. Very poor.

just finished it,great show.I dont know what the fuck bez is talking about not being character driven and not having great acting.This show was more character driven the band of brothers.The shows are completely different though.Did you guys know the actor who played sledge was the kid from the first jurrasic park movie?

It was awful. This compared to Band of Brothers is an outrage. The show was weak. Nothing happened. Having Tom Hanks narrate the opening was poor. Every episodes story was the same. The characters and acting wasn't strong enough to even make it slightly enjoyable.
