we definitely need a solo nate dogg, especially after the semi fucked up "nate dogg" release. his health comes first but fans need nate dogg!

I dont even understand what happened with the release of his self titled album. What ever happened? That one single is still up on ITunes but no album....what was the reasoning for this?

Well everything was fucked up! Nate Dogg released "Music and me" via Elektra. It had good success, went gold and continue selling since around that time nate was all over the place.. Next album, still with the label Elektra, "nate dogg" (it's a lazy move to call it like this because that album wasn't personal at all..) was planned for 2003, with the single get up. Then nothing, album finally came in 2005 without a second single or a video.. It was a digital download, with songs already heard on mixtape, soundtracks etc.. some instrumentals used by other people ( the hard way used by shade sheist..) and the other songs were average. On the skits ( 15 secs) nate dogg is just talking.

I never understood why elektra did that because in 03 nate was all over the radio, could have had anybody on his record.. they just fucked up.. if i'm right they went bankruptcy right after!

Anyway in 08 some label was supposed to release hard coppies but didn't do it. You can check it on amazon.
