Natural Elements are L-Swift, A-Butta, Mr. Voodoo and producer Charlemagne (whom you might know from doing production work for CNN, Nas, Big Noyd...) and affiliates Raidermen, Nightbreed, Big Kwam
Simply put, these guys are some ILL FUCKING MCs.Particularly Swift, Butta and Voodoo reach that Big L level of lyricism and that statement is no joke.I'm currently listening to a compilation of about 50 of their various radio freestyles and a bunch of joints they released and I'm left astonished.Their official releases are, sadly, limited to 2 EPs and a dozen 12"s
Oh and the production provided by Charlemagne is top notch

yeah Natural Elements were def a dope crew, just a shame they never released more material...

So my post was kinda short, I had the urge to do a little write up then but had very little time to do it
In the late 90s Natural Elements signed with Tommy Boy but the album that was recorded was shelved (like many tommy boy hip-hop albums). It leaked last last year or in 2008, I'm not too sure. After the album being shelved the group kinda disbanded and everyone went to pursue their own path.Charlemagne went on to produce for big name artists, Voodoo had a dope ass 12 release with 2 banging joints produced by Alchemist and a couple of mixtapes, L-Swift changed his name to Swigga and (I quote) "started constant down south dickriding stylewise" (I myself have listened to a few swigga songs/freestyle and indeed it's kind like a different artist, much less hungry and lyrical than when he was l-swift).A-Butta has a bunch of guest appearances post 2000 and in 2008 hooked back up with l-swift (swigga) for their crew 2Face (they also have a dope ass 12" release in 1996 N.Y.C./Hey Hey) and have a couple of tracks on their myspace.A-Butta has also said that he has a bunch of album worth material recorded throughout the years but doesn't know why he doesn't release it.
Well, that's probably it, put in a few words.I'm open to requests and here's some more dopeness from them
