Game is set to release his highly anticipated "R.E.D. Album" on June 15th. The album will be executive produced by Game and Pharrell Williams, who jumped at the opportunity to collaborate. “Game is good kid…and I'm excited for the world to hear the many facets of his character...what's even crazier is that as a fan, I cannot believe I am actually producing songs on the same album as Dr.Dre. Humbling, man… I owe Game for that one. His album is gonna be a problem," states Pharrell.
Leading off the "R.E.D. Album" will be the Pharrell produced street anthem "It Must Be Me", a West Coast influenced trunk rattler that features Game spitting venomous lyrics reminiscent of an early "I got something to prove" Ice Cube. Following will be the Justin Timberlake assisted "Ain’t No Doubt About It" where the two J.T.’s sing and rap over a radio hit that will be blasting out of car windows and club speakers this spring. “I never thought I would have the chance to work with Justin, but to come up with a smash like we did, it’s only fitting,” Game asserts.
In addition to working closely with Pharrell on the project, super producer Dr. Dre is back to lend his hands and voice, producing and rapping on the "R.E.D. Album". And Game couldn’t be more thrilled to work with his mentor again stating, “Dre is a hip hop legend and one of the reasons I’m making music. To be working so closely with him again…man, I don’t even have words to describe it.” Game is now ready to let the world hear the "R.E.D. Album" saying it’s shaping up to be the biggest of his career, “my two favorite producers are helping me with the direction of this album, I couldn’t be in a better position.”

i thought Dre was going to be one of the executive producers? ???
-
it'll be interesting to see how the final product comes out. i doubt it'll be disappointing as LAX so it should be good
-
Interesting. Very interesting. But we need that first single!

looking forward to hearing this one. pretty excited for the whole album actually

Well if June 15th is the real release date, we should hear one soon.
-
Kinda disappointed that Dre ain't the executive producer and that the first 2 singles aren't Dre produced but definitely hyped for this project 8)
-
dissapointed dre is not producing the first (as previously claimed) or even second single. dre didn't even rap on the doc though, so cool to hear he is actually on here. gonna be much better album than LAX for sure 8)
june 15th date is extremely dubious...september?
-
I'm really dissapointed to hear this, but i guess it means Dre is concentratin' on "Detox" and that's good news.
-
Great news. ;D
-
Can't wait ;D
-
it will be moved.... but i doubt the info bout the singles are gonna change, good to hear that - pharell is great producer, im also pretty curious bout the justin single, i always liked him.. seems like a good album ;)
-
Game albums are always good, so looking forward to this!
-
No way he makes June 15. And if he does, he'll be embarrassed when Drake outsells him. Best thing is to move the date.
Can't wait though 8)
-
sounds tight, looking forward to both tracks...I think Game is still on geffen I saw some website the other day that had the release date as June 15th and someone that worked at the retail says it says Interscope and not aftermath or something like that. Bet you if he was on Aftermath Jimmy would make him wait till next year to put out the album and he just wants to put it out now so Dre will still be assisting him somewhat but doesn't have time to do it all with him since detox IS COMING THIS YEAR
-
Good to hear. Classic shit.
-
all this hype about dre producing on the red album he did 1 track 2 tops i bet.. and who knows he might pull them off at the end. Im not buying into anything until i hear the album

theres no way game is pulling dre records off his album especially if he's rapping...jimmy wouldn't let that happen either

He is on Interscope. That was confirmed but him going back to Aftermath wasn't.

If he drops the singles soon I could see him possibly making the date, but c'mon Lunatic of course Drake will probably out sell him because Drake is pretty much what Lil Wayne was a few years ago :P I can't wait for R.E.D. though because Game will most likely have the better album 8)
-
Lookin forward to the album. Can see it dropping in June if the video for shake about to drop n they're shootin a video for big money remix.

correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure that geffen doesnt exist anymore.. there is one record label: Interscope-Geffen-AM owned by Universal Music Group and Iovine is the president of I-G-AM
@Black Friday - im glad u like my sig ;)
-
Dre is executive producing the other half of the album Pharrell statement is from MTVnews he is honored to be a part of a project along side DRE not Game he thanks Game for the oppurtunity in making that happen

why would he be embarrassed, he's a grown ass man? can't wait either! 8)

Game's last 2 albums didn't have Dre at all. Now this one will have Dre and you niggas are complaining cuz he didn't produce the singles? West Coast fans are never satisfied, I see why our artist can't ever release shit.

^ Meh, Neptunes is hit and miss these days, with a strong emphasis on miss.. good to see Dre back with Game though, if the result will be anything like their collabos on the Documentary.
-
Drake will outsell game IMO But i cannot wait for this im looking forwards to this with more anticipation than detox

Could be really dope, I really hope that the hook is much better than on "Krazy" or "Big Money"
-
Damn good news and the snippet sounds very promising.
a mtv.com article is official too not some random hiphop site article.
game is very quiet so maybe he finished really the album the last week and they picked the singles and they will now start dropping the songs.
and maybe even the red album will come before detox, i think it would make sense, a first dre verse on games album and then drop the real deal.
lookin forward to games new one.

Remember when he was saying Dre was gonna be at DA till the last minute? Atleast he'll really have Dre on album.
