This was a great flick. John Leguizamo did a great job. Almost as good as his role as Benny Blanco from the Bronx. If you enjoy crime flicks then I suggest watching this movie.

I thought it was an awesome movie, and i'm kinda hard on just stupid action crap.  They pulled it off good, Ithought though, I even recomended it to people and said it was one of the best out in a long time, then I got home and all the critics slammed it,... I don't understand why, I thought it was great.

Critics dogged it because rappers had important roles in the movie. There were a couple of bad reviews for 8 Mile because there were rappers starring in it.
