is hip hop artists sampling or collabing with indie rock and indie pop groups going to be a hot new trend?
B.O.B. has a song on his album that blatantly copies a Vampire Weekend song.
Jim Jones did a remix of MGMT's "Electric Feel"
Dame Dash backed a album full of Black Keys collabos with rappers
Kid Cudi did a couple tracks with Ratatat and is supposedly recording a whole album with them
Jay-Z mentioned he was a fan of Grizzly Bear, Passion Pit, and Yeasayer
i think it would somewhat work...
