Good album, I'm impressed! Even the mainstream/club songs ("She's so fine" & "Spotlight") are listenable. 8)

GroupRip is out...

Nice album from the southern legends ! You know where to get it if you need it !

1. It’s Going Down produced by Drumma Boy - 4/5, banger and a nice way to start off the album
2. Bring It Back featuring Young Dro produced by Nitti - 4/5, I always liked this one, bumps in the whip, hook is catchy after a few listens
3. I Don’t Give a Fuck featuring Bun B produced David Banner - 3.5/5, I expected a little more from this but another banger
4. Ten Toes Down featuring Lil Boosie produced - 4/5, this has been out, glad to see the version with Boosie made the album
5. Fuck U Mean featuring Soulja Boy produced by B Don - 3/5, not too bad from what I expected, the beat is nice and Soulja Boy had certain moments I could listen
6. We Come From produced by Midnight Black - 4/5, both killed it and the beat is crazy
7. She’s So Fine produced by Swizzo - 3/5, it's decent for what it is
8. Spotlight produced by Shamann - 2.5/5, :-X, sounds like a throwaway from the last album, beat sounds like "Ridin' High" kind of, not good
9. Right Now produced by Mo B Dick - 4/5, smoother track on the album
10. What They Do featuring T.I. produced by Lil C and 1500 - 4/5, solid track, this one had me amped at the gym lol
11. Billy (Truth Be Told) produced by Nard & B - 4/5, good concept record
12. Life Goes On featuring Slim Thug produced Drumma Boy - 4/5, vintage 8Ball & MJG material right here
13. Still Will Remain produced by Drumma Boy - 4/5, standout track for me and a dope ass hook
14. Grinding - 3.5/5, should have switched this with the previous track maybe cuz it's not a "closer" type of track
overall I'd give the album maybe a 3.75/5, possibly a 4/5 depending how much it grows on me... definitely better than their last effort though, this one will be getting some burn in the whip for sure 8)

1. It's Going Down - 4/5 - Ball/G fit perfectly over Drumma Boy beats. MJG flow is ridiculous on here.
2. Bring It Back - 3.5/5 - Nitti is so over lol. Sounds like such a typical Nitti beat too. Hook catchier than a mutha fucka though.
3. I Don't Give a Fuck - 3.75/5 Beat is decent. MJG hook is straight. This shit reminds me of something off "Livin Legends" which is a good thing.
4. Ten Toes Down - 4.25/5 Vintage Ball/G. The original should be on the album though, not the version with Boosie. Must have been a late label decision to keep Boosie.
5. Fuck U Mean - 3/5 - Beat is dope and hook is catchy. Not that bad considering it's Soulja Boy lol. They brought Soulja Boy to the Ball/G world instead of conforming to his.
6. We Come From - 4.5/5 Great beat.. Ball/G really rep that whole south, cool hook by MJG. MJG flow his fuckin' ass off on his verse too. David Banner is on here
7. She's So Fine - 2.75/5 - Meh, typical mainstream shit.
8. Grinding - 3.5/5 Ricco Barrino on the hook (not a fan). Nard & B monsters on them beats. Decent album cut, nothing super strong. Beat is bonkers though.
9. Spotlight - 2/5 Not a fan of the beat. This the Ball/G I dislike nowadays. Hook is eyy too. This is mutha fuckin Ricco Barrino again lol
10. Right Now - 4.25/5 Smooth Ball/G. Reminds me of "Memphis City Blues" and stuff of that nature. Hook is so-so. Sounds like might be Ricco Barrino again? He fits this more.
11. What They Do - 4.25/5 - Decent beat, could be better. Hook is straight. All the verses are good. Damn, am I tripping or is this Ricco Barrino AGAIN on the hook lol.
12. Billy (Truth Be Told) - 4/5 WOW I'm super tripping or this is Ricco Barrino on the fuckin' hook again lol. Beat is straight.
13. Life Goes On - 5/5 - This is vintage Ball/G; Real shit about life. 8Ball spittin' straight here. Slim Thug sounds good on here too; simple rhymes, but it works.
14. Still Will Remain - 4/5 8Ball opened up with a nice verse schoolin' everyone on the history of Ball/G. Good closing joint.
Definitely better than "Ridin High" and with time, may be as good as "Livin Legends" (which was their last dope release imo).
