I'd say ''Who Dat'' and the leaks from Distant Relatives 8)
btw GTFO if you vote for Gayme
EDIT: I forgot to include Ice Cube's new singles, please forgive me but so many single came out last week lol
-
I was gone for 3 days and there's shitload of new music 8)
My rank:
1. ''Not Afraid'' (Eminem)
2. 'Who Dat'' (J. Cole)
3. "I'm Back'' (T.I.)
4. ''Find Your Love'' (Drake)
5.'Ain’t No Doubt About It'' (The Game)
Any of the leaks from Nas & Damian Marley's ''Distant Relatives'' --> only listened to the first 2 leaks, will wait for the full album to drop. You could also add Lose My Mind from Jeezy, I'm Beaming from Lupe, I Rep That West... it's gonna be a hot summer (cliche I know)

agree with these but I haven't heard the Drake track so I guess I'd replace that one with Jeezy's single
-
^it's not good at all; better than Game's though. :P
if you liked Kanye's "808's" album, you may get into it.

1. not afraid
2. im back
3. who dat
4. find your love
5. aint no doubt about it
that game track is straight garbage what the fuck is wrong wit him??? the drake track is way better than it smh
-
Well Drake's single is clearly a R'n'B song. But then again Game's song is r'n'b influenced too. Who Dat is kinda weak imo. And I liked J. Cole's mixtapes. Not Afraid is cool, good opening single but not absolutely amazing. I'm Back was a lil dissapointing eventhough the beat is dope.
1. Not Afraid
2. I'm Back
3. Who Dat
I think Game & Drake are nice lighter songs to listen occasionally but I'm not listing those..
btw, I haven't listened to DR leaks yet because I wanna hear the whole album when the grouprip leaks.
-
1. "Strong Will Continue" Nas and Marley
2. "Not Afraid" Eminem
3. "Promise Land" Nas and Marley
4. "Ain't No Doubt About It" Game
didn't bother to check the rest, I don't waste my time with any of D(F)akes shit, and don't know who J. Cole is either, but judging from the title "Who Dat" it sounds like some ignorant ass South shit
-
1. Cube
2. Em
3. Ti
4. Drake, Jeezy, Game

You have to check J Cole immediately. He's not in any way your typical southern rapper.

some shitty singles in there.
Who dats probs the best with em second.
Havent listened to DR cause i wanna hear the album in full
-
I'm sorry but Eminem takes it.
-
J coles single without doubt in my mind, sounded the sickest on his verses, had the best beat easily and a banging hook, hiphop headknockin music

Word, beat reminds me of some Jay Z "Blueprint 1" music, Cole murking it...
Em>Cole>>>T.I.>>>>>>>>>>>>>Game/Drake
-
I Rep That West > All those singles
-
1. ''Not Afraid'' (Eminem)
2. "I Rap The West" (Ice Cube)
3. 'Who Dat'' (J. Cole)
4. "I'm Back'' (T.I.)
5. ''Find Your Love'' (Drake)
8) 8) first 3 bangin all day -.-
-
I want to like each single more than I actually do - especially J. Cole's, Eminem's, and Nas's material. None of them hit that level of excitement I was expecting.
-
I Rep That West > All those singles
Yeah, pardon me, but i forgot to include it in the list. You know so many singles came out recently, I probably played that song the most 8)
-
Eminems and TI, other is average shit
-
1. ''Not Afraid'' (Eminem)
2. 'Who Dat'' (J. Cole)
3. "I'm Back'' (T.I.)
4. ''Find Your Love'' (Drake)
5. "Ain’t No Doubt About It'' (The Game)
Yep, even though the Drake-track might be better than T.I. if you judge it as a "song" and not as hip hop.
Who are the 2 flaming homosexuals who voted for Game? :D
-
J coles single without a doubt, had the best beat easily
-
J coles single without a doubt, had the best beat easily
so beat = best?
if my single was me saying "rah, rah, rahhhh" over What's The Difference, it would be the best?

Are you asking me or the dude who quoted me? LOL because i made it clear there was more about the joint i like then just the beat! I still really like the jcole joint, fire. The eminem track is a grower and is probably going to be huge but i just dig the sound to coles joint.

I should've reworded the quote a little more. I didn't mean it like that, I just prefered J. Cole's beat over Eminem's beat and that made up my mind for the poll.
-
^either one of you lol.
it doesn't matter to me which one you like more, because J. Cole's single is fucking fire; no argument here.
it just sounded like you guys meant beats determine the greatness of a song. :P

''J coles single without doubt in my mind, sounded the sickest on his verses, had the best beat easily and a banging hook, hiphop headknockin music''....
Thats what i said LOL, i dont see how i said the beat alone determines the greatness of a song since i mentioned the hook, the verses by jcole and that fact i found it something which i dig...hiphop headknockin joints! ;D
Its like someone who writes somes great shit on paper, but if he cant spit what he wrote correct and the beats wack too, what he said alone won't make a song worth it imo. Thats one of the reasons u got some cats making paper off being ghostwriters lol
Gotta be the whole package family and Jcoles joint i liked the most. And yes it did have the best beat easily to my ears! 8)
-
only thing that can come close to cole's single is a promised land in my eyes.J. Cole came out with a certified banger, lyrically and beatwise, I really hope it does well for him
who dat shits on em's single, I'm a big fan of his but that airplanes song with him and his single are not my cup of tea.

yup, the j. cole track is straight bumpin', i need a proper promo to drop 8)
em track is cool too, but not that great.
-
After a couple weeks I have to say that "Who Dat" stays on heavy repeat and still sounds fresh. I'm Back is also still the shit, gets you hyped. Kinda got tired of Not Afraid...
-
the best single this year is Shutterbug, the fact that it's not even an option shows the thread starters ignorance
-
Im really feelin that J. Cole "Who Dat"....its street, dope beat, raw back to real hiphop shit
the Eminem single is annoying to me now, the others....mehhh :-\
-
I also agree with LBIA the "Shutterbug" single is dope as fuck too
-
the best single this year is Shutterbug
+1, killer single.
Who Dat sounds better and better each time, its a grower, and T.I is just banging as the first time i heard it, eminems single is getting out from rotation. I dont listen to Games single at all lol
