Title: DubCNN has kept West Coast rap alive, without it there would be no more.
Post by: jabella on April 29, 2010, 12:05:24 PM
If it wasnt for DubCNN and Dubcc I wouldn't know Kurupt, Eiht, Cube anyone would have releases out. Let's face it, no Hiphop/General music sites support west coast rap.

Nobody would know these west coasters were still dropping cds.

I have to admit this is not the first time i've heard somebody say that (that dubcnn is the reason the west is alive) but on the other hand i have to agree with box, if the west was not alive we would have nothing to report on!

yep. and i would have never thought i would talk on a forum... but here i am haha.

props for the news and listening to us, asking some of our Q to the artists.

PROPS for the nate dogg update. We would have never known about his situation if it wasn't for you and your good relation with Damizza. I still have the regret that you didn't catch him while he was active...

props for keeping in touch with artists like butch cassidy and kokane when they didn't have much buzz..

now if that aint the truth..I aint knockin yall site.. but come on..alot of favortism is been happening...Yall never give my nigga Mako a fair shot...lol yall charge folks that aint in you guys certain criteria's ..I may be banned from here after this.. but it's the truth..And not just MAKO..Its other artist out here that getting it in and yall dont acknowledge them due to yall taking sides with certain rappers opponets..Like R.I.P Big Paybacc..Yall never featured him in video releasings on yall front pages..And not..

So dont flatter yourself..Cuz its more than DUBCNN thats got the West fired up..Its the artist that yall promote and the Underground artist yall dont fuck wit keep the people with good music..The bootleggers are the ones you really gotta respect cuz they got they backpacks promoting harder in the streets..so they can sell the cd..So i can go on and on about how its Not just yall site keeping shit goin as a whole WESTCOAST...I hardley hear about the Bay area rappers on this site.. jus majority Los Angeles Metro area rappers on here...And MAINLY..Yall only promote yall favorites..(cough cough) Like the West Coast revolves around they guys yall show favortism towards...Sooo Technicly you are keeping your FAVORITE ARTIST ALIVE.......

Sounds like someone wants to be a staff writer lol.

But on the real, big ups to Dubcnn. My favorite site by far. And big ups to the other sites that support the west.

Its comments like this that make what we do worthwhile.

Trust me when i say what goes on behind the scenes is a huge amount of time, effort and money - and that is a credit to all the staff and of course the readers that value what we do.

To those with issues about what we cover/what we do and what we dont do - dont wait for a thread like this to complain/make comments - come and speak to ME and the TEAM. We make the decisions, we action content and cover all we can. Often we miss material due to it not being brought to our table or due to resource - maybe there are people here on the forum or there on "the streets" that could be working for Dubcnn or at least being an extra ear to drive content to us. Step up if you want to help us improve.

We know we're not perfect but we are THE resource and we are built for YOU - help us service the coast to the best of our ability

well.....I'd still know about all the artists you mentioned. But I probably wouldn't even know that the new west exists. So props for that.
