Almost everybody here disses the new album.... but a lot of people, not the real hard core Snoop fans, seem to really like the album.
-
Ya, i saw that thread too, SOhh mostly digs the album, which is no surprise. I mean, they like the fact that Snoop has Hitek, Premo, and Just Blaze on there, as well as Jay and Redman. Just like when Busta had Dre and Battlecat on his last album and Westcoast fans liked that album...........
-
yeh man SOHH is more into the east coast sounds and this is wot snoops new album seemed to be :'(
-
just like thug world order, the hardcore fans didnt like it, but everyone else did
-
Sohh works like this. They try to figure out what all the so-called "dickriders" are going to say and then they say the opposite.
And Sohh even like Justin Timberlakes album. Sohh is just a bunch of kids trying too hard to act like they know about music.
-
Justin Timberlakes deserves his props the album is dope

Opposite!
I'm not a big fan, and I didn't like it.
All the BNTH-peeps on this board liked it, like Doggy, caTash, bLaDe, etc...

Yeah, and also how Westcoast-ppl liked the new Jay-Z, when he had Dre, Truth Hurts & LaToyia on there.

Same here.
Does anyone like BP2 and not PTCTBTB or vise versa? Just wondering.

Yup.
I'ma Jigga & Snoop-fan, and would give BP2 a solid 4 mics, and PTC around 2-3 mics.
As compared to BP1 around 4.5 mics, & Last Meal 4 or 4.5 mics

One problem might be a lot of the eggheads here downloaded most of the Snoop songs 3 months early and got bored of them.
I think the shit is coo, and hell naw it doesn't sound anything like an East Coast hip hop record, shit DJ Quik had more east coast rappers on his last album than snoop does.

Peeps diss Snoop 4 an East Coast CD but Not DJ QUIK. HATERS!
-
dont tell me quik album was east coast.....thats an inuslt to him i think....his album was straight west coast....every song.....when he produced every track (except Put It On Me and thats by Dr. Dre WESTCOAST) that means its westcoast......Snoop on the other hand aint westcoast....some are some arent.

That wasn't a big problem.
Out of 20 joints or so, only 5-6 of them was leaked to the Internet before it got released.
A bigger problem for the people that had downloaded it though, was to see that there was at least 4-5 tracks that should have made the album.
-
i like the album. i think its good.
-
The album is dope...It might not sell as good as his last albums but Snoop is more consistant with his flow and delivery, even though I'm a big Doggpound fan and there isn't any representation of it on this album...I like the Eastcoast tracks on the album, I think they are they are some of the better tracks and I think the producers did a pretty good job...
