That shit was funny, that fool made me laugh talkin about who he thinks is real on this forum and who isnt. This is the internet dog, you have no way of knowing whos for real with their shit and who isnt. State your opinions not your judgments cause your judgments dont mean shit here.

Now as far as opinions go. The Menace has a chance to be a mainstay in Underground Hip Hop, without a doubt. As far as his mainstream appeal goes, that depends on the quality of material that he puts out in the future. You cant judge him so early in his career just yet, gotta give him time to prove his worth. Yeah "Reality" was good for an Underground hit but it doesnt appeal to mainstream hip hop fans because mainstream has changed since the height of the West Coast era. The reason we like it is because we grew up on this style of music, Most people younger than us dont follow the same trends we do. They want their Drakes and Lil Waynes....To them its about trends. The Menace is not part of that trend. But I am a fan and think he has potential to have a decent career if he makes the quality of the music stay on the same level as "Reality".

And as far as Cube and "I Rep That West": I have been blasting this in my car since it came out, The beat is good....Could have been greater if it was mixed by someone who knew what they were doing. The hook is fuckin smooth, no doubt about it. But I felt like Cube was being lazy with his flow. I felt like the verses could have been done better, The content was okay but the way he laid it down just fucked with the flow of the song. Still I love the song, I have high hopes for the album.

Menace isn't a Nas or a Biggie lyrically but he has a good voice (ala Game but even better) & he has a really good ear for beats. If he was signed to a major he could blow up, not like Lil Wayne, Drake etc. but still, somewhat known.

Jay Rock had Lil' Wayne on "All My Life" & that even made my radio station, which is unheard of & i'm sure i'll never hear him again on there; point being, got nothing out of it.

this guy had Wayne on a track, didn't get ANYTHING; so this guy is heading nowhere, just like the rest; plus he sucks ass on top of that.

he wasn't with wayne's crew,so it's just a song, people looked at it as wayne just using it to make him look more like a real blood, and i guess it worked for wayne rocc just didn't get much from it yell

Those were two different style of songs.  Menace's song is talking about gang-bangin' so I don't think he intends for that to get him air play.
