In their hey day I think Family Guy was the funnier show but South Park is still great while Family Guy has been falling off harder every season.

Family Guy, cause Southpark now insists on making a political statement almost EVERY episode. I wouldn't mind it so much if it wasn't so often.

they're different shows....south park i noticed u HAVE to watch from the very beginning, otherwise its hard to catch up with the joke..its like a 20min. long joke
family guy is funny cuz of the randomness (which they got from simpsons) but sometimes seems like they are out of ideas....i saw a few episodes this year that were pure garbage, not funny at all

family guy was great when i watched the first several seasons, then all of a sudden it became unfunny, never felt like watching it again. was good while it lasted though.

i think both series have gotten better in time . i agree with the statement about south park having a statement in every episode but it´s still funny as fuck

South Park - Nigga this show went from 4 kids just fucking around with crude profanity, 2 making a gagantic impact on a ton of situations. while family guy just sparked controversy 4 its DVD Sales/Jew related episode. lol

if family guy had never come back after being cancelled,the first three seasons would stand as something that could be compared to simpsons in its prime,failing of course but it could be compared.But,after it came back it was horrendous.They had a funny episode once in a while but overall it just got a big head after being brought back from cancellation.They repeat jokes a hundred times,they use cutaway gags as a crutch,they use jokes that are barely funny and stretch them out to unbearable amounts.The writers got very lazy,it got to the point where I watched it just out of habit because it used to one of my favourite shows.Now family guy is unwatchable in how bad it is.You know whats sad is how much funnier american dad became over it.
South Park is the funniest animated show on tv currently,and though the show can be hit or miss at times the hits far out weigh the misses.

I think overall, South Park. But I agree with the political statement part. Its funny once in a while but nowadays it just seems like they cant come up with new ideas and just go with politics/movies/etc that is the hot button issue of the day. I miss the actual storylines of the show. Both are great though.

The first 5 seasons of Family Guy was good! But.. they've been on a decline ever since. They still have a few highlight episode here there though.
South Park, imo, has been consistantly good. So im gonna vote South Park.
with that said.... the first 10 seasons of The Simpsons > Life ;D

Hard choice.
My perception of family guy changes often. one time I can get bored with every episode then when I watch a week later everything is extremely funny.
I have to wait a long time before I can enjoy a south park episode after watching it for the first time.
When watching an episode for the first time South Park is better but family guy episodes are better in the long run.

South Park > Family Guy. Watched 3 episodes back to back of Family Guy the other night and none made me laugh.. South Park is hilarious. But If I had to criticise it, some shows are just so so stupid it is not even funny.

Family Guy is one of the worst shows I have ever watched. As soon as I hear "Remember that time when I" or "Thats almost as bad as the time I" I turn that garbage off... South Park >>>>>>>>>>>>

depends on the mood im in, but i generally like South Park more... Family Guy tends to be repetitive

family guy just makes me smirk in bits, it dosen't crease man up or sumthin, you get what i'm saying, it dosen't get me in stiches
