TORONTO - Chris Bosh(notes) has reportedly narrowed down the teams he'd like to play for next year, and the list included the Toronto Raptors.
According to several reports, Bosh's agent has told the Raptors the star forward would like to go to the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat or New York Knicks should he decide not to re-sign with Toronto.
The story was first reported on ESPN.com.
Raptors GM Bryan Colangelo said after the season he would like to retain Bosh, who established career highs in points (24.0) and rebounds (10.8 ), was voted to his fifth all-star game and became the franchise leader in scoring and rebounding.
The 25-year-old will likely opt out of the final year of his current contract, making him an unrestricted free agent July 1.
"It's the biggest unknown in our situation right now,'' Colangelo said at the time. "I still embrace the notion and fully intend to talk about him staying a Raptor, and talk about the possible success that we can have here, and why Toronto is the right place for Chris Bosh. That will all happen in due time."
If Bosh can't be re-signed, Colangelo has said he won't hesitate to pull the trigger on a sign-and-trade arrangement that would likely see Bosh get a maximum contract, while the Raptors ended up with players, draft picks or both.

so basically it's six teams just incase LeBron stays with the Cavs.

I think its more than likely he stays in Toronto, and the Raps make a trade for Chris Paul, Monta Ellis or Andre Iguadala...
If Bosh leaves he will either end up in New York with LeBron or Chicago (or MIA) with Wade.

Bosh is very similar to Gasol.. would you really want a frontline of Bosh and Gasol going up against the tougher teams of this league? Teams who like to bang would destroy Bosh and Gasol on the inside... Trading Bynum for Bosh wouldnt be as great as some of you tend to think. One of our main strengths is our size advantage in the post, and we dont wanna give that up. Sure, Bynum's been injured a lot, but when healthy, he's VITAL to our success...if he does stay healthy, he's a perennial all-star and a rare true center in this league...dont underestimate. Bynum is why we swept the Jazz, I'm not breaking up this team that's on the verge of repeating for a jump-shooting big who carries the "soft" label with him...Don't get me wrong, Bosh is an excellent player, no doubt about it...but not exactly what we currently need...PeACe
