Gotta love T.I. Gangsta Grillz, always mutha fuckin' fire. He got 1 of the best Gangsta Grillz of all time (his first). I expected big things and he delivered. Tape is fire. Only complaints is the annoying tags, but can't deny the songs behind them are dope as hell. And I'm sure some NODJ leaks will come. And some of the vocals sound low on a few select tracks. In depth review below.
1. Jamie Foxx Intro - Lol, hilarious.
2. Welcome Back to the Trap - Vocals sound a little low but this is that TRAP MUZIK era shit baby in every word of the sense from the verses to the hook. And lyrically, T.I. spittin' on here. - 5/5
3. Spazz Out - Good to hear a Swizz Beats beat that isn't busy and all over the place lol. T.I. really spittin' strong on here again. Beat is really on point. - 4/5
4. Whatcha' Sayin' Tip - Vocals are kinda' low again. Hook and beat are catchy. 3.75/5
5. Yeah F/ Lil Wayne - Hook and beat are catchy again. Wayne is cool on here, T.I. outshines him though. - 3.75/5
6. Yeah You Know - Been out a few days. Shit is mutha fuckin fire. Classic Tip. Good to see Tip & Toomp fuckin' a lot together again. - 5/5
7. Once Upon A Time - Read Ice Cube sayin' T.I. did this as paying homage to Cube. Didn't think we'd get to hear it so soon. VERY dope. - 5/5
8. Here We Go Again - This beat mutha fuckin' fire. I don't know this didn't make the album. This shit bangs. - 4/5
9. Get Yo' Girl F/ Rich Kid Rashad - Had a bad feeling about this joint. Jim Jonsin & Rich Kid Rashad didn't sound like a good mix lol. - 2/5
10. Like So - Eyy. Everything here is average. Although I love the last line about he rappin' still for the passion. - 2.5/5
11. Gettin' Paid - Lil Wayne sample. Beat is alright, not as good as the first track Track Slayers did with T.I. [I'm Back]. He spittin' nice and cocky on here. - 3.5/5
12. Fuck A Mixtape Ni99a! - Lol at Lil Duval
13. Really Living Like That - More T.I./Toomp. Not bad but sounds like it could be a grower. - 3.25/5
14. Whether You Like It Or Not - Apparently a snippet of the album. Sounds pretty promising.
15. Shooting Range - Lol another Jamie Foxx skit.
16. No Competition F/ Young Jeezy - Lovin' the flow. Jeezy & T.I. both sound good on here. Very cool joint. - 3.75/5
17. Bitch Who F/ Macboney - Been leaked for a while. Macboney is criminally slept on. He SPITS sometimes. Like to see T.I. work with original P$C members because it doesn't happen enough anymore. First verse T.I. spit on rap city in the basement lol. - 3.5/5
18. Ready, Set, Go F/ Killer Mike - I remember an article Mike said his first single off his next mainstream album was this song. It never leaked 'til now. Interesting. U can tell it's a Mike track, he got all the verses lol. Mike should have kept this shit for his album (or maybe he still is). No I.D. is a motherfuckin beast and this is no exception. - 5/5
19. Fuck a Mixtape - LOL at Kevin Hart.
20. Outro - 5 Minutes of talking lol.
21. Celebration - Hook is eyy. Beat is dope though. And T.I. rapping decent on here. - 3.5/5
22. Got Your Back - We've all heard it. Cheesy, typical, expected first single. If you like it, call it a guilty pleasure lol. - 2.75/5
Most T.I. mixtapes suck because u can tell in the past he hasn't actually recorded for therm, instead he just throws together album leftovers and calls it a mixtape. This is different because u can tell he recorded shit specifically for it and it worked. 8)
