After a couple listens, it doesn't sound like he did a good ass job on this song. Overall I think it's alright, nothing mindblowing. I expect better stuff than this from Kanye.

After what some may consider a much needed break from the limelight, Kanye West is back with a new song. The new track is entitled, “Power,” and is a leak from ‘Ye’s highly anticipated fifth studio album, Good Ass Job. The track features vocals from Dwele and an Ozzy Osbourne sample.
This time, Kanye does not helm production on his first single, he has tapped Symbolyc One (S1), while it is rumored that he also works with Pete Rock and DJ Premiere. He has spent a large portion of his time working on Good Ass Job in Hawaii.
There’s no solid release date for the forthcoming project, however, they are looking at a September release.

he sampled king crimson lol
im a huge fan of king crimson but cmon that was cheesy as fuck.
-
its coo. Will have to give it a few listens.
-
I really like this shit.
-
average but moist people will hype it
-
Haven't listened yet because it's apparently an unauthorized leak, which means unfinished, so I'm gonna wait for the official version to drop. It's been getting great reviews on the net though...
-
welcome back, Kanye. 8)

song is ight, like the fact it don't sound like no other rapper shit, heard a old box freestyle rhyme haha yell
-
any more links

I like the sample, it's nice. The song as whole, as a single, seems to be missing something. I'm not talking about it being unfinished or unmastered, it's just missing a good hook/chorus.

Gave in and listened. Great production as always with Kanye and a very good lyricaly performance especially for a single. Only thing that bothers me is that his flow is too laid back and thugs get's overshadowed by the beat, which is very big and noisy (in a good way). We'll see if the final version changes that, doubt it.

After one listen,I really enjoy it.The beat is a bit busy and the vocals could be a bit louder his voice kind of gets lost in the beat a little. But I do enjoy the beat and his lyrics are on point. For an album cut its perfect, but for a single its not what youd want in todays music. Its just not catchy enough to get spins today.

it definitely doesn't have that catchy, number one hit kind of sound to it.
but welcome back to Hip Hop, Kanye.
