Earlier today we reported that Crooked I annouced the release of his new EP "Planet C.O.B., Vol. 1", and also suggested that listeners should expect fresh music from the project within the next 24 hours.
He kept his word and delivered a brand new track over Alicia Keys' track "Unthinkable (I'm Ready)". I don't recall hearing a weak verse from dude in recent memory, and this one's no different. As expected, Crooked shines and brings this track to life. Crook speaks his mind on the new Death Row "Hood Star" project scheduled to come out. I thought he told y'all "not to drop his old shit unless he says so!"
Crooked I - I'm Ready
"Planet C.O.B., Vol. 1" is dropping on July 4th.

damn dissing wideawake but crook got a point about the traklisting though lol and resurrecting deathrow
-
So he doesn't want his old stuff released becauset he wants to be positive and let the drama of the past go away. I guess that shooting really scared the shit outta Crook, he's paranoid.

Wtf are you talking about?Could you be reaching any further?Pretty much every artist that was on deathrow feels this way about deathrow they just want to move on and leave it dead.

I love the track but seems like he flipped his opinion around. Last time, he was all about getting his publishing and wanted to shut down them bootleggers. Now, he wants people to bootleg this! I don't know what to think with this one.
-
album please
-
tight
-
I haven't heard the song yet. What does he say about that Hood Star album? Is he mad that they manage to put out an album and he couldn't? lol
-
Sounds to me like he doesn't approve of it, or Wideawake. Wouldn't be much of a surprise, they starting falling asleep after Down and Dirty was revealed to be a re-release of ATG IMO.

I think they've been in trouble since jump. Even their releases that actually have worthwhile content have been marred by shitting mixing, mastering, etc. "Down and Dirty" was a bit of a kick in the balls because it was Against The Grain re-issued. If they'd called it that, they might have done alright but putting it out with another title just seemed like an attempt to disceive people. I don't mind the tracklisting for "Hood Star". Putting out stuff that leaked on the Internet as physical product at least allows that material to be available to the buying public.

either an rnb or gangsta tunes, he can rock em both with dope lyrics. thumbs up crooked.
