Post by: Jaydc on June 04, 2010, 05:16:56 PM
jose Bautista?WTF? Just belted out his 17th and 18th homeruns for the season.

Blue Jays are knocking them out of the park this season. Its too bad what happened in the devil rays series.two blown game in the 9th otherwise they would have swept the series.

im still waiting for tehm to crash back down like they do every season.

If jays had been in any other division they would have made the playoffs a bunch of tiems over the last ten years.

^I don't doubt it, it was bad enough with the 2 highest payrolls (Yankees & Sox) but now that Tamba Bay is among the elite it's damn near impossible.

here's an article that might explain why the Jays (including Bautista) are hitting lots of home runs:

While it's possible he's a late bloomer (he's turning 30), it's probably more likely he's playing a little over his head.  So I say trade him while his stock is high.  Hopefully a desperate team looking to get into the playoffs will give up the goods.
