Title: CAN ANYONE HELP ME? AKA BANANAS/DOLLAZ/ANYMUTHAFUCKATHATKNOWSHOWTODOTHIS
Post by: NotoriousTDA on June 05, 2010, 05:11:18 PM
I HAVE A REQUEST.

DO YOU HAVE A PROGRAM THAT REMOVES VERSES FROM THE SONG? ALMOST CREATING AN INSTRUMENTAL OF THE SONG BUT KEEPING THE CHORUS?

DOLLAZ HAS HELPED ME BEFORE, BUT I DUNNO IF HE'LL DO IT AGAIN.

I NEED:

keep the chorus but lengthen the verses to 16 bars. does that make sense?

AND:

KEEP THE INTRO, KEEP THE CHORUS. THATS IT. (REMOVE VERSES)

THANK YOU MY DUBCC PRODUCTION GODS.

That first beat is off the chain, some Charles Hamilton soundin' shit.  I used to use a program called AnalogX Vocal Remover (google it) It's a DirectX plugin that will work with any audio program that allows importing plugins..  It will only do so much though, depending on how the song was mixed..

Download to the first joint, I went and googled that shit with the quickness, def want write to that shit...

There are programs or plugins that say they remove vocals, but really they only eliminate certain frequency ranges and end up fucking up the track.

not in the removing vocals part, I wish I could because they are both saucy tracks. Sound just can't work on some CSI shit like in TV where they're like "drop those crowd sounds, isolate the vocals, analyze the gun shots". I wish there was technology to do that and do it well, it just doesn't exist yet.

I never removed any vocals, I just looped parts of the song as best as I could. I only worked with what you gave me. no homo.
Also like Bananas said, there are some programs that can do that sort of stuff but it sounds like ass in the end. Believe me, if there was something that could take a sound/instrument out of a song I'd take apart Ain't No Fun.

Charles Hamilton? Is that that dude that wears pink and is obsessed with Sonic the Hedgehog?
