Garnett isn't doing much positive for the Celtics anymore, BigBaby and Rasheed Wallace are way better. The Big 3 for the Celtics in now Rondo, Pierce and Allen; with Garnett way behind those guys. Rondo is playing out of his mind right now, this guy needs to start being talked about as one of the best players in the whole league.

No doubt.. I mean when he blocked Fischers shot, then a couple plays later stole it from Kobe in crunch time, that sealed it for the Celtics. The way the guy rebounds, plays defense, and has developed his shot at critical moments, makes him the Finals MVP so far.
They were saying he probably could of even made the MLB as a pitcher. This guy is just an all-around extraordinary athlete.

He's skilled, no doubt, but you're exaggerating his talent...Ray Allen hitting those 8 threes really had the Lakers focusing on him extra hard, so Rajon got a lot of easy, uncontested penetration. Honestly, Rondo needs to develop a shot before we can call him one of the best players in the league. His defense is stellar, and so is his passing and rebounding...but the fact that he's a horrible shooter and can't hit a free-throw, as a guard, make him a liability in many cases, like game 1 for instance...but I'll give Rondo his credit as a floor leader, cuz he's earned that... he's clearly not the best point guard, though. Ray Allen will NOT hit 8 threes again and Rondo will NOT get another chance at a huge game like he had yesterday...PeACe

Rondo is hard to assess...I don't think he's the best PG in the league, but I do know the league has never seen a player like him. A 6"1 pg who is a great offensive rebounder, yet can't shoot ft's?
either way, IF the Celtics win the chip, you know he will get finals MVP as he is clearly the best player on that team
Allen obviously won't hit another 8 threes, but he also won't hit none like in game 1.
HOWEVER, does anyone really think Bynum will have another 21, 7, and 7 game?! Dude is mad unpredictable
Also, I'm betting PP kills it in game 3

i think hes the best pg in the league

i think hes the best pg in the league
He's got skills, but I don't think you can even put him in the same league as Deron Williams cause he still gets left open on the perimeter. Once he gets a CONSISTENT jump shot he'll definitely be in the elite.

magic johnson says hes the best :D

Well it's of course a lot better exposure-wise if you're winning road games in the Finals while being the clear #1 of your team, compared to winning 40 regular season games. That's why people think he's better than Chris Paul. He sure ain't.
-
i mean its all a matter of opinion...
Rondo is with one of the best teams in the league so of course hes the best pg right now
but after watching game 1 and 2 who cant say that Gasol is one of the best PF in the league or Artest isnt the best defender in the league?
at first i thought Gasol was weak but he gots some hustle in him
maybe Looney might try to come in here and talk shit cus i hate steve nash with a passion (and still do) and thinks he sucks but damn did he put on a good effort i cant deny that...
the first two games of the finals is the best games ive seen all damn season
lets just see what happins tuesday
i think celtics will take it then the lakers then the lakers may take it again and win
the world can only wait and see

going against teams with 62 wins, 59 wins and 57 wins and owning all of them
what's so frightening about Rondo? at age 23 he's turning into the 4th or 5th best player in the league BEFORE DEVELOPING A JUMPSHOT
4 weeks ago if you were to tell me Rondo was a top 5 player i'd laugh. now it's reality.

see what im sayin..

He's sick. But I would definintely not consider him the best PG in the league lol. Like they were talkin about on ESPN radio, fans just pay attention to whats happening at THIS moment. Rondo is in the finals...so people build him up more than they normally would. If Paul was in the finals people would be raving about him as the best PG. I would definitely still take Paul over Rondo. Williams over Rondo. Probably Rose over Rondo. I still think Nash is better (just old). Parker and Rondo are somewhat of a wash to me.

why would you take Paul over Rondo so quickly?
Deron Williams I can put over Rondo because of his size advantage but Paul? he has nobody on his team besides David West so his stats look great
but Rondo is in the same class of PG's without developing a true jump shot yet (at age 23 mind you). he's got plenty of time to improve on that and transform into the next Gary Payton

mainly because he is better lol. Stats mean nothing...so the fact that Paul has no one on his team only helps my argument. Williams would be better than Rondo even he was the same size. The thing is, PGs like Rondo and Parker are VERY good. And could compete for best in the league. But as of right now, their teams dont NEED them. Take Parker or Rondo off the Spurs and Celtics and those teams can still compete. They wont be as good, obviously....but they wont be HORRIBLE. Take Williams off the Jazz or Paul off the Hornets...and those two teams completely fall apart. They cant function without them. Just watch all of them play. Paul and Williams are much more IN CONTROL of their team and the offense.

it doesn't do SHIT to help ur argument
if u put CP3 on the celtics his stats shrink just like Rondo's because isn't the #1 player
Rondo is the best defensive PG in the league and will only get better offensively
-
since Gasol said KG wasn't as good as he used to be KG has been scoring 19 PPG and shooting 55%

yes it does. Because if you read my post Im not basing this one stats alone. Chris Paul isnt better because his stats are better...he's better because he is more control of his team on the floor. HE is what makes his team go. Rondo is just a piece to the puzzle. A very good piece. But a piece nonetheless. Paul and Williams are much more the leaders of their team.
