agree.the west need more pop artist.katy repping cali.if we got pop artist,R&B artist and rap artist all repping the west then the west a make a come back,we cant just make it with one sound or one genre,the south got r&B singer,gangsta rappers,soft rappers and all.thats why they winng.so this katy record is a goo dlook for the west.

why is everybody so caught up in numbers?
not many people in any region are selling relatively good, who "keep it real".
the West is just hundreds of people "keeping it real" & none of them are selling.
the East has Jay-Z, he sells; the Mid-West has Eminem & Kanye West, they sell; the South has Wayne & i guess T.I. counts.
other than that? who really sells records? they sell sellout, formula based singles, but not albums.
my problem with the West is you got every new rapping saying the same shit that they been saying since Pac, Snoop & NWA; just progressively getting worse.
all repping the coast, talking about weed & low riders; the West needs some new substance & a more radio-freindly sound if you guys want them to do numbers.
but that's the problem with rap because if they did that & made formula based music to sell, you guys would bitch & complain everybody on the West sold out; so it's a lose-lose.

they are sellin so they are good and the west accepts em...otherwise how come they werent gettin this much acceptance years ago?
they were from the west then, so what happened? (they are sellin more records now and snoop isnt)

people around the world want that...if you dont make what people want, then what will you sell period?
