Exclusive Interview With Ice Cube: 1/7 Back-To-Back Features - By : Rud - July 5, 2010
(http://www.dubcnn.com/interviews/icecube2010/ice_cube10.jpg)
As promised yesterday right here on Dubcnn and to our email subscribers we start the ‘‘7-in-7’ back-to-back interviews from some of the biggest names in the game. Across the next week, to mark the summer months of July and of course in recongition that yesterday was Independence Day we are deliverting seven exclusive interviews in seven days on the site.
We kick off today with Ice Cube when we were among the privileged few to sit with the legendary Hip Hop icon, behind-the-scenes at his headlining performance at this year’s Paid Dues festival in San Bernardino, CA. The room of interviewers were chomping at the bit to chat with the 20 year Rap veteran and Cube enthusiastically talked about his new album, "I Am The West", and his stance on the simmering debate over Old West vs. New West. Cube also discusses what role his successes out side of Hip Hop play in his music today.
Aspiring entrepreneurs will want to read about the importance of vision in Cube’s illustrious career. Ever the mogul, we also learn about two of Cube’s new film projects: the ESPN documentary Straight Outta L.A. and his new film Lottery Ticket.
This is a must read not only for Ice Cube fans but lovers of Hip Hop. Is Cube The West? Take a few minutes to listen and read and you can judge for yourself.

Well there isn't much to comment on. You asked a lot of the same questions he's been answering in interviews for the past few months (statement behind album title, raider doc, paid dues, what's it like being an Og). But props for the interview all the same.

yh no offence but its the questions that are asked

this was part of a media press junket, you get like 10 mins and everyone has to do it. Hence the multiple interviewers, the best questions were asked by Javon of Dubcnn.
We are working to do an indepth Dubcnn style feature with Cube soon - stay tuned - but in the meantime you have to take what comes
