Why's Messi on there?

He had a good world cup overall, just didn't score and got a little too hung up on it..

Kaká too? Damn.

pretty sure kaka set up a few goals.

RVP should be on there considering they reached the final and i dont remember him contributing at all bar a goal in the group stage.

average person in their 20s and 30s lets say, hasnt seen many in their lifetime to make a list, i've only seen 5 cups, i hated 2002, the rest were good, this one was bad too cuz of the controversies but good ending cuz im a spain fan and also it had some really interesting moments; usa against england and algeria, germany against england and argentina, holland vs. brazil, other upsets like spain and germany losing in group stage, italy and france gettin knocked out first round, etc...

Messi shouldn't be on there he played well and if it wasn't for some wonder saves or the woodwork he would of had atleast a couple goals, anyway in a team with soo many attacking options like Argentina his goals mean less, it's more about overall performance and to me he played well. Kaka shouldn't be there either since he had like 3 assists and could of maybe got more if he didn't get screwed over with that red card

So, my Top 5 would be:

1. Rooney
2. Ronaldo
3. Torres
4. Anelka
5. RVP

I'd agree with us but put Torres number two ahead of Ronaldo.

Torres and Rooney were embarrassing. The difference with Ronaldo was his team was poor and they played him up front alone like he's fucking Emile Heskey or something and pumped long balls to him. They played like Bolton Wanderers and its not conducive to good football. Ronaldo was very poor but he was a victim of his team's poor play, while Rooney and Torres were just straight dickcheese.

torres was actually involved in some of the goals, and he would've had a goal if pedro passed him the ball in germany game for that open goal  :'( ;)

Just goes to show companies like Nike and Adidas that paying these people millions to advertise their products isnt always the best thing. Imagine if they would have made adverts with largly unknown players.

Thats true, did anyone else notcie that nearly 60% of the players were wearing those grey/orange nike boots. It looked like they were pretty much trying to get every player to wear them bar those signed up with other companys.
