Be great to see Maywether get his ass beat. I can't stand stand that little arrogant excuse of a man and his cocky new school wack "bling bling money money" persona. He's an extention of what is wrong with the Hip Hop world. At least other boxers, and other sporting figures in Football and Basketball in the past carried the image better. I was rooting for Mosley all the way last month

Mayweather is praying everynight that Pacquiao just goes away and Mayweather never has to even fight him. If he wanted the fight, and wanted to go down one of the real all time greats..he would just take the fight. Everything has been layed out for him the way he wants it. And he still is backing down. If he doesnt take it, or even keeps delaying it...everything everyone has said about him his entire career will be considered true.

Don't be foolish.. if this fight ever happens, you will see a clinic on Pacman.  ;D

Yall can continue to hope Money May loses but he's already Gone.. on top.

and FYI the only holdup on the fight is awaiting the results of Roger Mayweather's trial next month.

Well, Pacquiao is considered the pound for pound best. Technically, I consider Mayweather the best in the world. But there are other intangibles that Pacquiao has the the advantage on. So honestly for me, its a toss up.

lol I doubt that. It could go either way. Floyd is technically sound. But he has never actually been in a FIGHT. Pacquiao is relentless and wont stop throwing punches. Even if Floyds defense is at its best and keeps Pacman landing only 30% of his punches, those 30% could be more effective than anything Floyd lands. This fight could give Floyd the chance to show the world he actually has any heart.

And fuck that excuse shit. If the holdup is the trial, Mayweather could just come out and say...I want this fight, but I dont wanna make a decision until I know whats gonna happen with Rogers trial. Everyone would understand that. But he's been duckin and dodgin as it is, and already known to only take safe fights.

So has been said over 40 times now..  ::)

He's gonna get hit more than he ever has before..  ::)
He will see pressure like he's never seen..  ::)

In case yall missed the newsflash, Pacman is the smaller man.. who has been stopped before.
Sugar Shane Mosley and Zab Judah hit harder than Pac could ever dream of..
Juan Marquez gave Pac his toughest fight without even hurting him once.. PBF CLINIC'd the smaller Marquez..

so what makes u think this would be any different?
Pacman's wild loopy style won't beat Mayweather boxing.

Furthermore, May (nor Pac) owes us sh*t.. so all this "excuse" dialouge is for the birds.
None of us truly know what's goin on behind all of this unless u are closely related to either party..
If they both said forget the whole thing, we couldn't do sh*t but b*tch about it.

Pac didn't become P4P of sh*t until May retired.. Remember that.

If you know boxing, you know you cant just go off of who has beat who in the past. Styles make fights, everybody knows that shit. Cotto beat Mosley, Mosley whooped Margarito, Margarito whooped Cotto. Thats just how boxing is. Marquez was the perfect opponent for Mayweather because he was a technical fighter who was ALSO a smaller man. You cant out-technical Mayweather in the ring. You wont beat him by being the better technician. Sugar Shane and Judah both hit hard, yeah. And Mosley rocked Mayweather in their fight. The thing is, Pacquiao is far more unconventional than those two. Mayweather was easily able to adjust to them and see their punches coming. Manny's will be coming from odd angles and punching in rapid succession. After Mosley rocked Mayweather, he went to throwing one punch at a time and going for the KO. Big mistake. You can only beat Mayweather by overwhelming him. He will more than likely be more accurate than any fighter he faces. So if you throw the same amount of punches as him, you dont stand a chance. Im not sayin Pacquiao will definitely beat him. Thats stupid to say. But no more stupid than it is to say that Mayweather will definitely win. Mayweather himself knows that shit aint the case or he'd be all in on this fight.

And yeah, neither of them owe us shit. But they chose to be in the entertainment business...so they knew the scrutiny that comes along with it. And Floyd has set himself up by flappin his jaws so much about bein the best ever. So he's creating even more scrutiny upon himself when he backs down and ducks tough fighters. You think you will ever see him fight Paul Williams?! LOL!! HELL MUTHAFUCKIN NO. If youre gonna say your the greatest...you better give the people what they want. Or youre just a joke. Ali got that, shit, Holyfield got that, Floyd still doesnt.

Manny, just like every other opponent will be forced to change his gameplan.. causing his defeat.
If you think a flurry of odd angle punches is enough to beat May then I encourage you to bet against me if the fight is ever set.

May has already proven himself and if he wishes to go out only taking big-name fights at this point, so be it..
DLH was the biggest fight to be made in boxing at the time it went down.. if yall remember.

Manny has fought similar opponents but yet gets accolades when he fights them,
May is charged with fighting only folks he knows he can beat..

I wonder if that's because he always wins? ::)

Personally, I would love to see this match because I see May embarassing Manny on this night, in a real way.

Mayweather is over-rated.

Boxing these days is similar to pro-wrestling, in that it's scripted and set up to a certain level. So many people behind the scenes to ensure matches are a lot more easier than orthers. It's big business, and they need to try and get handfuls of boxers persona's built up and a large undefeated record to create the opportunity for more breath taking matches in the future. IE: undefeated V undefeated draws in both big crowds and box office numbers. Mayweather - well... His people have picked 2nd tier fighters for most of his career. Anyone even defending this fraud in boxing needs to sit back down, and continue to listen to their cash money records CD's, and all the other wannabe Hip Hop stuff out there

Same as when Snoop said he was going to talk to Garnett about joining the Lakers. Snoop thinks he can talk to anybody and get them to do what he wants done. Its almost cute, like when little kids think they're helping their daddies fix the car.

Nobody from Mayweather's camp has said anything.. Mayweather barely spoke on it the other day.

Arum made up all the sh*t about negotiations because he was being ignored and had nothing to show for.

The only one interested in this fight seems to be Arum (and the fans.)

here you got 2 dif sides of the story.

The unofficial official reason why Mayweather doesn't want to sign up for the fight with Pacquiao yet, is because his uncle and trainer happens to be fighting domestic abuse charges with an ex-girlfriend. It seems there is a notion that he may lose the case and Floyd and his people don’t want to start the training for the fight then lose one of the best trainers in the biz. This fight may make $200 million!

Here is the other “real” reason. Floyd and his camp issued a statement saying that they have NOT even been negotiating with Pac’s camp. HUH? Why are they waiting this long to say that when this has been playing out over weeks in the media.

Here is the statement.

“Here are the facts ... the truth is no negotiations have ever taken place, nor was there ever a deal agreed upon by Team Mayweather or Floyd Mayweather to fight Manny Pacquiao on Nov 13. Either Ross Greenburg or Bob Arum (Manny’s promoter) is not telling the truth, but history tells us who is lying."

Manny will more than likely tweek some things for the fight obviously. But Freddy Roach i believe is the best trainer in boxing right now.  He will have him prepared.  My opinion has always been that it would be best to attack Floyds body. Fighters tend to become headhunters against Floyd. Most of that because of Floyds defense. He confuses a lot of fighters and they get desperate. Remember, Ive been a huge Mayweather supporter throughout his career.

DLH was big only in name, not in talent at the time. When Mayweather AND Pacquiao took on Oscar, he was done. But De La Hoya is a big draw so everyone targets him even if he is shot. Mayweather beat him...Pacquiao destroyed him like no other.

Mayweather is charged with only taking on safe fights, because he looks past every threat out there. De La Hoya was done when they faught. He waited until Mosley was way past his prime to fight him. I dont think Mayweather wanted ANYthing to do with Mosley in his prime. He ducked Margarito for years. Cmon man. There is a reason why certain fighters get a ton of respect and admiration, and other fighters (Floyd) are looked at as cowards. When a million people say the same thing about you...its you, not them.

Mayweather can handle his career however he wants. But when he continues ducking people...and then wants to call himself the greatest, he will continue to be laughed at. People dont watch him fight because they just respect his greatness, they want to see somebody beat the shit out of him.

Mayweather callin himself the greatest with nothing more than a perfect record and very few notable victories is the boxing equivilent to Lil Wayne claiming to be the greatest rapper alive.

Wrong cus Ive pulled for Mayweather in every fight he has been in, except maybe the Mosley fight cus Ive been a big Mosley fan since day one. But again, Mosley was way past his prime. Mosley in his prime was actually the most dominant champion in history at one point with a 38-0 record and 35 KO's. That shit is just crazy.

Put it like this (and dont say hate, cus hate is an overused and most of the time incorrect word to use). Why else would a fighter with a perfect record who hasnt really come close to losing many fights (Castillo might have beat him....but whatever) still have so much to prove in the eyes of the public and even boxing world? What has HE done or not done that makes people question his greatness in boxing history?
