Just like The Pharcyde's Labcabincalifornia, this is a CD that I completely missed at the time it was released (1995) because I was so caught up in the G-funk sound when it came to the West Coast. I picked up a used copy from a second-hand store a couple of months back and got around to putting it in the deck.
It's incredibly dope and a lesson to me that there must be a lot of quality music I slept on during that period.

yeah thats tha liks best album to me, its a classic, that kick back and relax, blaze a couple of zoots(spiffs) and see that shit, headnodding, hip hop boom bap, back to front, yes surr
its was original too wit some of the topics they was covering, plus tash is a beast on the mic aswell, everybody else represented too, including the features, it wasn't a one man show, especially q-tip's verse, he merked that tune, you get what i'm saying, the production was sick aswell, on some classic type vibe, classic album

Totally, man. Tip's verse is ridiculous. You're right, everyone brings their best - love Xzibit's verse and also King Tee's on 'Bottom's Up'. It's just a fun album, man - you can tell they enjoyed recording it and so it gievs you that laid back vibe when you're playing it too.
-
no doubt, its a summer time album, but you could play it in autumn too, when the rains pouring down and it gets dark early too aswell, you see what i'm sayin fam

Love this album. Tha Alkaholiks are mad underrated, one of my favorite groups. To be exact they were one of the first groups I listened to when I was getting into hip-hop.
