The mobile studio runs Mackie’s Tracktion 3 Ultimate Bundle music production software, featuring a full suite of mixing and mastering tools, as well as virtual instruments and loops galore.

Mackie Control Universal Pro, Extender Pro, and C4 Pro control surfaces give him full access to all of Tracktion’s recording and editing functions.

An Onyx 1200F FireWire interface provides 30 inputs and 34 outputs of 192kHz audio using Mackie’s high-end Onyx preamps. A pair of SA1521z two-way 15-inch active loudspeakers serve as monitors for this tricked out studio on wheels.

Besides the studio, the Snoop Van also needed to be a place to relax. Mackie’s HR624mk2’s are used in a 5.1 setup formaximum pleasure while watching a movie,
or playing video games.

Snoop was so thrilled to have Mackie on board that he gave permission to have the van driven down to NAMM. A bunch of Mackoids were on scene to meet with Big Dane from West Coast Customs and to see the pimped out ride in action. There is no doubt that this mobile studio is the real deal.

this is incredible. I remember watching MTV Cribs like 10 years back and he showed his garage which was bossy like nothing else!
