I'll definitely be buying this. Apparently its the last ever Slum Village album.

I like the touch of still putting Dilla & Baatin's names over the SV badge with the other two.

Even without a full album with Jay Dee production, I really like this album.  T3 and Baatin (RIP) don't have the best lyrics, but man they flow so well together.  It's always entertaining to hear those 2 together, and Elzhi is a beast on the mic.  Nevertheless, it's a great album, very cohesive sounding.  Check it out!

Thats a nice production line-up. Young RJ is cool and has a sound that fits them, then the guest producers are all superb. The "Slum Village" self-titled album from about 2005 was great and was mostly produced by him, Black Milk and T3, so theyve proved in the past they can make an album without Dilla's beats and still sound great.

Slum Village at their peak were arguably one of the best hip-hop groups around. Jay Dee's music is timeless, and even though Baatin, T3 and to a certain extent Elzhi aren't the best three emcees in the world, they all sound the best over the SV sound. Baatin and T3 made Dilla's sound their own, in the same way no-one sounds as good over a Pete Rock beat than CL Smooth.

Dope album. Like WestCoast said it is very cohesive for all of the verses they had to cut and paste for Dilla and Baatin.

just saw on another forum that apparently track 12 - Where Do We Go From Here, along with 2 others, was originally supposed to be on Rapper Big Poohs upcoming album Dirty Pretty Things...it seems that T3 is fucking over a lot of people at the moment
