Hopsin's message to Ruthless Records, his fans, and Tomica Wright...
"If your one of my fans then i would appreciate it if you helped me promote my new album RAW. Im signed but get no love or promo from my own whack ass fuckin label. They let me starve, they let me develope a bad heart condition to a lack of money for food. They even use me to make my own music videos that they dont pay me for. Im on an edge that you will more than likley never understand. In result of this, i will be putting out my new album RAW strictly on my own. This album isnt just me bashing for no reason. Its a fight for talented artist who get fucked over, like me! Im putting my foot down as of today. Im at rock bottom because of my record deal. FUCK RUTHLESS RECORDS and fuck TOMICA WRIGHT! RIP EAZY E AND RUTHLESS RECORDS! YOU CAN DO WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANT TOMICA! IF I END UP IN JAIL, IT WOULD BE A HELL OF ALOT BETTER THAN THE LIFESTYLE U PROVIDED ME WITH. ATLEAST I WOULD GET 3 MEALS A DAY. RAW WILL BE OUT IN SEPTEMBER, I WILL KEEP YOU ALL POSTED WITH AN OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE.

Hopsin is a talented individual. And it doesn't surprise me at all that his situation at Ruthless has been less than satisfactory. I can't think of any artist that has been signed to that label since Eazy's passing, that has been happy with their situation. At any rate, I'll definitely support a second Hopsin album, regardless of what label it drops on. I liked the first album quite a bit. And seeing as how he pretty much did the album by his self, I don't really see how he benefited all that much from being signed to Ruthless, anyway.

I hope this album will be available in Europe too! The first album isn't available in stores here (the Netherlands), that's fucked up!!! >:( :( I e-mailed Hopsin about it on his Forum but didn't got a reply yet...

It's a deal with BH Confidential/Ruthless Records. All I know is, the deal frankly sucks.

Hopsin is one of the most under rated artists out, he's dope as fuck!
Got RAW and I love every track, especially "How You Like Me Now" with SwizZz. (SwizZz is also dope, check him out.)
