Anyone who has the American version of the N.E.R.D album In Search Of..., what is the date on the back, where it says like copyright (year) Virgin Records, cause I wanna buy the album off the web, and don't want to end up with the original European version which has the same cover. I know the American one was released in 2002, but what is the date on the back?
Help Please!
-
all i see is 2001 virgin records america, inc. or something

Ok, cheers, that was all I wanted to know.

Are there 2 versions of the album? One with live instruments and the other with the studio tracks? I'm d/l the album to peep it off Kazaa. I'm using the tracklisting off of cdnow as a guide. How do I know which version I have??

Murrow if you have the one on cdnow I don't think that's the american version. I have the american version and the tracklisting is like this:
1. Lapdance featuring Lee Harvey and Vita
2. Things are getting better
3. Brain
4. Provider
5. Truth or dare featuring kelis and pusha t
6. Tape you
7. Run to the sun
8. Baby Doll
9. Am I High featuring Malice
10. Rock Star
11. Bobby James
12. Stay Together
If you have anymore questions just ask me
Peace

Maybe a little bit later i'll post the european version, but they both have about the same songs but in a little bit different order. Not so different.
the european version has 13 tracks and the american version has 12 tracks.
-
So the albums are in just different order? They don't sound different? Cause these beats sound like the beats The Neptunes have been doing all along. Nice album though.
-
they are just in a different order.
I'll post both versions in about 5 minutes ok.

I remember hearing they remade the album with live instruments after it was released in Europe...I know "Lapdance" on the American version is a Rock Remix which is different than the OG one on the Eurpoean version...PeACe
