This guy was a mad as prod and pretty good on the mic, anyone heard any recent news on him?

His one album was amazing. A really good mid90s LP with the funky horns and deep bass a la the type of stuff Lords Of The Underground and Cella Dwellas were putting out, although obviously with a smoothed out West Coast vibe to it.

yeah that first dred album was a banger, as well as the cella dwellas first joint, land of the lost was pure illness to bad they ain't put it on the cassette  >:(  and advance to board walk is  :o yell

yup, his album was some straight dopeness

He also produced Adriana Evans' first album, production is quite similar to his album but with RnB/Soul vocals.

Yeah I've heard that Dred's first album is good and well worth buying.  I'ma look into it...
