oh, so someone is a "hater" because they can see the reality that an album is weak? lol

Of course not.. but Eminem does have a lot of haters who will say the album is bad just because they dislike him.. His last 2 albums sucked but this one is pretty decent..

Says the guy who co-signs Snoop Dogg albums, GTFO. lmfao.
You support those because your a fan. Snoop as his absolute worst (geeeeez that's fucking bad), is still tolerable to you because you're a fan of him.
Same is said about every other artist & their fans; get over it, chief.

Not even a 5/10 album.
Stop this nonsense.
-
IMO I think this album was better than Encore and Relapse, but not on par with his other 2 first albums.
-
Not even close to classic. Not a bad album though.
-
the thing i couldnt dig is his whiny singing voice.
after the intro i lost interest lol
-
it was real dope when it came out but got boring real fast

hell nah..production wasnt even all that
-
Overall, I thought the album was real good, and I wasn't expecting it to be. I thought "Not Afraid" was so-so, and didn't really like "Won't Back Down," so I went in with low expectations. But I thought the rest of the tracks were good. I still think the production is pretty uneven, especially when compared to "Relapse," but I think Eminem's delivery and lyrics on "Recovery" were the best they've been in years. It's interesting to see how divided people on this forum are over it, though. It clearly missed the mark with some people, but I guess you can't please everyone.
-
ok album. i like it now its grown on me. at first didnt like it. Relapse set the bar way too high. he didnt quite make an album nearly as good as relapse but its decent.
-
to redneccs and suburban pop fans yes,but as a hip hop classic far from it yell
its hilarious how these same ppl think they so cool BLASTING the album out they car.. its always a redneck or "suburban" kid.. prolly the only rap CD they have.. smh
-
are you the same poster that made the topic about Eminem's full recovery?
-
No, not nearly close.
But good album. 8)

Definately a step up from his last two albums but its nowhere near a classic and got played out real fast bar a couple of joints. Still better than the shit he put out for his two previous attempts.
And Vet talks sense, like usual.
-
Recovery = toooooo pop and soft
its not classic , no way near it bro . calm down
-
the numbers dont lie, im glad music is taking a better direction then " I Got Big Money So Now I Got Big Rims, Hoes Love Me Did I Mention My Big Money"

A track has grown on me because it's good to run & work out too - Won't Back Down.
I always liked Cinderalla Man. Those drums > most
The video of that rihanna track made it listenable where as before.
I prefer Game's take on Almost Famous; either way Liz Rodrigues kills the chorus.
The tracks I like I really enjoy, the tracks I don't like I really hate.

only weak track is "won't back down" every other track is straight SICK and if you can't see it i feel bad for u
this album honestly is a classic

def not classic.. too much bad singing and not enough stand out tracks
-
I applaud the attempt but it got old real quick. Try again Em.
-
Not a clssic..
I like the record its a good record , good rhymes decent beats..
Its fucking depressing as all hell tho.
Its not even hip hop its fucking soft rock with rhymes.
And another thing i dont like Em's new look. HIm the videos its very bland.
It is a very decent record tho.. i just cant listen to it all the time because i will shoot myself.
-
Below average album at best ... Em should have retired after his verses on Cheers ...90 percent of the music he released after are either laughable or have little replay value
-
to redneccs and suburban pop fans yes,but as a hip hop classic far from it yell
-
No classic
-
Re: Recovery..Certified Classic
....Nope
-
When this came out I was all over it. I would have laid out claims like this if albums such as the Roots 'How I got Over' and Big Boi's 'Sir Luscious Leftfoot' had not come along after. I now haven't listened to this album since those two dropped and really can't see myself goin back to it. It just doesn't have the replay value I thought I would. That sux. I was really sucked in at the time. :-\
-
Solid album, not a classic, and not his best. But solid overall and better than 90% of hiphop released in the last 10 years.

Last 10 years? Damn

i hear this being played out of fucking soccer mom vans all the time now

No, it seems Eminem has more Stans then any other rapper and the way these Stans act will make you respond very negatively about Eminem.

...which is hating...lol.
You're saying you have a biased negative opinion just to spite the people who support whatever he puts out.

Don't act like those Eminem Stans don't anonoy the shit out of you, they act like Eminem is the only rapper to ever make music worth listening to.
With negative I don't mean calling him wack but explaining he's not the only rapper to actually rap right.

You have to realize that their opinion is biased & you can't take what they seriously & affect what you think.
