I'm sure it will be the future for some dj's out there, like the ones who also have an iPhone/iPad and such. Me, I want to have some direct feedback. I want to feel what i'm doing, plus I don't want to hold back all the time because i'm afraid the touch screen is going to break.

Yeah I was thinking about that. You gotta be more sensitive and use more finesse. Like playing them electronic drums.

One more thing about these touch screen dj devices: When you compare this to a midi controller+laptop setup, the pro's really don't seem to outweigh the cons for me. I think the primary reason for buying a setup like this would be: Direct control over all functions. You can immediatly pick up a song and drag it into a player without using buttons, etc. Besides that, it Looks cool. The prime reason to go for a midi controller+laptop instead of this would be the physical aspect: You see AND feel what you are doing.
It's obviously a good thing to have all functions literally at your fingertips, but since you can't incorporate physical feedback into touch screens, I don't see this as the future of dj'ing
