Pacers get Collison from Hornets in 4-team trade

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- The Indiana Pacers have acquired point guard Darren Collison and forward James Posey from New Orleans in a four-way trade that also includes New Jersey and Houston.

The Pacers also announced Wednesday they have dealt Troy Murphy to the Nets, who sent guard Courtney Lee to Houston. To complete the trade, the Rockets shipped swingman Trevor Ariza to New Orleans.

Indiana was searching for a point guard since T.J. Ford fell out of favor last season with coach Jim O'Brien. The Paces get a good young one in Collison, who played well when Chris Paul was injured.

Pacers easily got the best of this deal...no way New Orleans got equal value for Darren Collison, who looked like a superstar in the making in his rookie season.

thats why i was like what the fuck when i saw collisons name i wonder why they traded him tho

The thing is, this move was probably done partly to show him that he was the guy, stupid fuckin trade though, Collison's gonna be a star.

Weird trade. How did Ariza get involved. Left the Lakers and now is a league bitch.. sad... he was going to be a great role player.

Forreals. Much as I love Ariza's game, he's nowhere near what Collison was in trade value. As said already, Collison looked like a superstar in the making, and is on a rookie contract. Hornets basically fucked themselves to show how loyal they are to CP3, who probably couldn't care less about NO anymore.
